Hi again! Just finished up CC#3 on the St. Bike and did the stretch. My HR got up to 175! I really got in a good workout. Danged If my HRM was working perfect and I pushed the wrong button and erased my stats. I'm sure I burned like 1000 calories or something.:)

Char- I did "Plyo Legs" yesterday and it has ONE legged chair salutations! OUCH! You got in a great workout!

Gotta shower and go get my hair cut...at a real salon! LOL! Have no idea what I want. I'm sure the stylists love that.

Missy, Sorry to butt in here but I just wanted to let you know I used to work as a VET Tech and I only got bit by one dog-believe it or not it was a Bassett Hound!! The pitt bulls were all so loving and sweet and I always enjoyed when a pitt was coming in-never had a problem with them. Its not the breed its the people raising them. Sorry to butt in here-have a great day maniacs!!!

Lisa

Hi Lisa- long time no see! Where did you go??

I just took a nap. DH came home early, and I said see ya. Just not feeling good. THink it is my Sarcoidosis. Oh well, such is life. I also ran into a friend this morning and went to her house for a visit. Very nice.

Lora- Ok, Edward hired Sam as his executive asst, and he wants her to have Jason's baby to be his heir. Tracy is having a sh*tfit. Carly just agreed to marry Sonny! After Ric almost arrested her for extortion. Spinelly told Carly about Ric and Alcazar, and she went to threaten RIc and all that. Emily and Nik just about found Spencer and they saw her car go off a cliff. They didn't know it, but Helena had Spencer on a plane and plans on raising him as the heir and letting Nik think he is dead. Liz told Lucky it is over for good. That is most of it.

Char and DS and Dallys- really good wo's ladies.

Anne- sore, yes. Blue mohawk???LOL!

Missy- some people just don't get it. Sorry you had to deal with that today. I am sure your doggys are the cutest.

AMber- I aam sorry for all that discomfort. That sucks.

Well, off to work. I will bbl.

Well, that was the first time that I have ever done PP in its entirety, and I don't think I will do it again... it was reeeeeeally easy, though fun. I think I will stick to the premixes. ;) I am going to make tomorrow's kickboxing workout more intense to make up for it. Oh yeah!

Lisa, I pmed you and THANKS!

Dallys, I can't believe they took your dog!!! He must have been so scared! I am so happy that you got him back - though if they were REALLY concerned about his well-being, why a pound??? And I am happy your butt is getting sore, that is always a good feeling :p

Debbie, the first man I ever loved was a Rottweiler. We got him when I was 9, but he died when I was 14 of a heat stroke. He was incredibly gentle and let us do whatever we and our friends wanted to him, but VERY protective, especially of us children - but the only person that he growled at and would hurt was my very mean step-dad when he would raise his voice at us. Then he would go and pee and poop in his section of the basement. :+ Damn good dog.

I am taking mental notes from all you ladies who dye your hair for when I have to start. ;)

DS, I hope that you all stay safe during the icing and everything. Killer workout!

Charlotte, you must have the strongest butt and quads of anyone you know. Phew!

Amber, I hope that all the itching goes away soon! I am so sorry about all that discomfort!!!

Meg, was she someone you haven't seen for a while? I love running into people. :) Just last week I ran into one of the snobs from my class. Haven't seen her in 9 years. She was so hot back then, now she is a bit chubby. Hehe. Still has the 'tude, but whatever!

Did I forget anyobody?

Missy

Sorry Amber, I meant Missy had a great run today! I get confused someitmes! LOL!

Charlotte - EXCELLENT workout you Maniac! Holy crap! You are deadlifting 130#? I could not even imagine that. Great going buns of steel!

Diane Sue - Excellent workout for you too!!

Missy - Rotts are great dogs. The first one I had died at 4 years due to an intestinal disease that 1 out of 10 Rotts get. Of course the one dog we buy has this disease. It was heartbreaking. His name was Sampson. Then we got a female, she was older when we got her, though. Very tame and docile. I loved her too. Her name was Bee Bee for some stupid reason - we didn't name her. Then my ex and I got divorced and I have no idea what ever happened to her. Sad.

Work was CRAZY!!! I almost didn't get out of there early. I didn't even have time to check on you all. What's up with that? :) It's still FREEZING!!! Below freezing actually.

Just talked to my dad. They think mild heart attack. Goes in for angiogram. Possible stint. He's not too worried. Will wait for results. Doesn't know what to do with his wife though in the meantime. :(

Debbie - I hope you're enjoying your rest.

Randi - I hope you feel better. I'm sorry about your PMS and also about your social anxiety. I HATE meeting new people and being around a lot of people I don't know. Makes me sick. People think I'm really outgoing but I swear it's all an act. Nobody believes me but it's true. I know your new doctor will help you when you get one.

Diane Sue - Thanks for the prayers. I'm anxiously waiting to call him.

Missy - I hear ya! People are just uninformed and they listen to the media or they have had bad personal experiences or know somebody who has had bad experiences from dogs who have been in very unfortunate situations. Although more often than not it is just people who are listening to all the hype. People LOVE drama. Unfortunately it just goes with the territory of having this breed and I hope that you feel that they are worth it. I sure do! They need us sooooooooooo much b/c they are so unwanted by society and they are so full of love. Just keep reminding yourself of what a WONDERFUL dog Lucy is and what she means to your family and to your kids and be strong. Let those comments roll of your back the best your can. It does get you fired up (me too) but just keep using her as a great ambassador for both breeds b/c she is so good. If you get a chance, visit www.badrap.org to remind yourself of what a great thing you're doing by helping this breed that needs us so very much (and they have really cute pics on the home page of pit bulls and chidren and one with a baby *GASP*). There's also a section called Monster Myths that might help. I personally thank you for helping my most beloved breed!!!!! Hang in there!

Lora - It hurts right when I start doing the half moon and the twisting half moon. I'm gonna print out what you wrote to me earlier so I'll have it with me the next time I do Yoga X. Yup, first 45 or so minutes - before that last vinyasa.

Amber - Bummer about the hair color. Sounds like you'll only have to be grey for 7 years according to Anne. Whew! :p

Missy (again) - Yes, I totally know what you mean about running in the wind b/c it's ALWAYS windy here. I HATE the wind! And yes, we have to go to work when it's this cold. ;) Every time I walk outside though I cough when I first breathe that first breath of air b/c I'm not ready for it. Hehehe.

Dallys - I can't believe those people took your dog!!! I used to think about telling people I had some other kind of dog but then I thought that wasn't helping the breed any, as they need all the help they can get with good ambassadors so I just figure I'll deal with the rude people for the good of the breed (can you say martyr - :7). Oh - yup, I'm using yoga blocks. Chickened out on the family deal haircut?

Char - EAT MORE FISH. It will make your muscles HUGE!!!!!!! Are you adding in extra legs every week????

Storm - Migraine free this week - thanks so much for asking. I LOVE weeks like this. Should have 3 in a row if all goes well. Woo hoo!!! :) New boobs for you next week girl!!!!

Lisa - Glad to have you butt in for pit bulls any day! :)

Meg - I hope you feel better. :(

Hey maniacs! Got my hair cut. Lovin' the new Blue Mohawk. Just my style. LOL! Anne you'd be proud! Acually, I got a nice hair cut and am quite happy.

Suz- Yeah, you are right. You need to be an ambassador for the Pitbull breed. Especially when you have one as georgous and sweet as Missy's mixed dog and your sweeties. The breed needs people like both of you. I just know how sick one can get defending their breed. Why do we have to do that? If we are responsible owners, leave us be and let us have the breed we want and get your own breed, and keep your mouth shut, I say. LOL! I have people terrified of my Rhodesian and she's a whimp and a sweetie.:) But Rhodesians are known for being protective also, and worse they are silent and protective, making them double scarrry, because you won't hear a word out of them. Meaning you won't get a warning bark too run away, by then they are already right there.}(

Well off to the hot tub with the DH. Awe!

~~Dallys~~

www.picturetrail.com/keeponthesunnyside

Yeah, my Pit Bulls are BOTH big chickens. You should see them run from every little thing! They're so funny. :) Pit Bulls are usually silent too. No warning. But somehow Gizmo learned to bark! He barks at everything. Pit Bulls usually don't bark.

Awww...hot tub with your DH. Mine actually thinks it's too cold to get in! He NEVER says that. It's right outside our back door off of our basement, but after we get out he's the one who has to put the chemicals in it and put the cover back on. I wouldn't want to do that either.

I'm feeling lazy. I should go do something productive. I'm thinking of all the things I have to get done at work in case we have to go to Washington to help out my dad. It's really stressing me out - now that I don't have an assistant! I do have an assistant I use a lot (not MY assistant but works for a few of us) who is WONDERFUL and she's also a friend of mine and she assures me everything will be just fine. Her 25 year old DD just had ovarian cancer last year and just had a hysterectomy a few weeks ago (disovered the cancer early in her second pregnancy - scary) so she said we all covered for her and she'll cover for me and not to worry. So sweet.

Hey I added a couple pictures but it's just from a walmart photo cd.
<a href="http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?randidiane">
Bad pic of me he he

Suz, thank you so much for reaffirming my convictions! I have had other pit owners tell me to just say she is a lab mix so that I don't get grief over it. I told one couple, parents of DS's friend, that I couldn't do that because it doesn't help the breed and they don't get that. x( And I agree about the drama thing, people do love it but I do understand some people's fears - pit bulls do kill more children than sheps or chows. But they also bite less than most other breeds. And people are just afraid of what they don't know. I am singing to the choir, though, I know! And THANKS! That is a great link.
We never heard a thing from Lucy until we got Dori, who is VERY vocal! Now Lucy uses her voice more. She whines when she wants to play and she barks when someone comes to the door now. Her bark is so deep and she sounds scary, but her tail is wagging like crazy! :+

Dallys, my best friend had a Rhodesian. She just returned it to the rescue she got it from last month... it is really quite sad. He is a SMART dog, so incredibly intelligent and easy to train but he was WAY overprotective. They are a very busy and active family and constantly had people coming in and out of the house. He felt like every time someone came over he had to protect the family and he would growl and raise his hackles at visitors, including kids. He bit my dog once even. He is a great companion and she still feels terrible letting him go, but she was so afraid that he was going to hurt someone and training didn't help him. :-( He is at a rescue now, so hopefully they will find a quiet home for him, he really deserves a good home.

So I am just sitting here on my second glass of wine waiting for DH to get home. He gets off work so late, I hate it! By the time he gets here I will be in an alchohol induced coma :p Have you guys ever heard of Oliver wine? We have been really big into that lately. The vines are grown not even an hour from us, and it is really sweet, oh yeah baby!

OH, I see DH's headlights!!! I will talk toyou guys manana! :*

Missy

awww! Dookie is so cute!!! You have such gorgeous hair!!! And if that is your "bad" pic, I really don't want to see a good one }( }( }( How long have you been working out?

Missy

I just had to drop in and say I do believe that the biggest factor in a dog's personality is how it is treated. So many people throw them in the back yard and want to pay attention once in awhile and that does not work. Sure they have their genetics, but the main thing is how they are raised.
