Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for April

Today I did X Train Legs minus the stretch, 46 minutes, calories burned 173. I then did Great Glutes, disc, bonus chair legs/glutes, and stretch, 23 minutes, calories burned 66. I followed with the Tread Climber, 30 minutes at a steady pace that kept my HR around 149-153, and went 2.6 miles, 223 calories. I finished off with Les Mills Flow 20 minutes, 56 calories. Total time was 1 hr 59 minutes and calories burned was 518. I think I will be taking 2 days off this next week. Going out of town Monday evening. Adding the yoga made the workout extra long but, I missed it yesterday and really needed a bit more stretching.

Roselyn, I have never used BCAA. I try to get most of my proteins from food. Recently though I have started back to using some whey protein just to get enough protein over the day. Plus it is quick if I don't have anything prepared. Right now on weight days I will have a bit of protein and fat pre-workout. Then after I have some protein and carbs with very little fat. Cardio days I like to do fasted most of the time. If I didn't eat much the evening before I will go ahead and have a small pre-workout meal. I have tried creatine before and was not impressed with it either.

Today I did Body Max 2, stopping after the power step portion I added on Great Glutes standing and bonus chair, then finished with the upper, abs and stretch. 2 hours 2 minutes 617 calories. I did this instead of Super Cuts this week. I wanted some cardio as well because we were supposed to be going out of town tonight. Plans were canceled so I won't be taking tomorrow off. I guess I will see what I want to do with tomorrow :)

Today I did Body Beast - Bulk: Chest again. I had a great workout .I had to be at work early again so I couldn't get on my treadmill. I can't wait to do a cardio coach workout tomorrow on my new treadmill!!! Going to do an hour workout on it if I can.

Today I was able to use my new treadmill and I LOVE IT!!! OMG, that thing is so cool. I was supposed to do Bulk Legs but decided to do Run Fit instead. I was itching to get on my treadmill and do a workout. It was so fun. And for me not running on my treadmill for over a month, I really did well. It felt good to run again, I really miss it.

Workout was 52 minutes, ran 3.37 miles and burned about 356 calories.

Hope you all have great workouts today!!!

Today I did Pedal Power Timesaver 35 minutes, 210 calories, Butts and Guts Abs and bonus abs, 30 minutes, 78 calories, and STS Extended Stretch, 15 minutes, 30 calories. Total time today was 80 minutes and calories 318. The spin Bike Readout said I burned 355 calories. Oh, well:rolleyes:
I have been making some yummy things from my Performance Paleo Cookbook. It has the best olive oil mayonnaise recipe. It turns out perfect every time and also has a recipe for Chipotle Mayonnaise that you add chipotle powder to. Lunch today was a homemade paleo tortilla with tuna and chipotle mayo.

Debbie, I bet you are loving your new treadmill . New equipment can be so much fun.

Today I did Body Beat - Bulk: Arms again. I think this is my last week of Bulk, I'll have to go back and see how many weeks I've been doing it. I might have one more but not sure. Had a great workout but my tri's never feel like they've been worked hard enough with this workout, I almost wish it was an hour long and he dedicates more time to triceps.

I also walked on my treadmill for 1 mile.

Diane Sue - New equipment does make you want to workout more. I love my new treadmill.

This morning I did X Train All Out Low Impact Hiit pre-mix, step and disc stopping at the stretch, 22 minutes and then X Train Biceps and Triceps, 46 minutes,. Workout was 68 minutes, 295 minutes. I switched up my plans for this week because originally I had Burn Sets Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps for today. My neck and shoulders were hurting yesterday and a bit this morning. I will do that on Friday. Tomorrow I plan on doing Butts and Guts and adding the bonus lower work to it.

Debbie, if I remember right I liked the Tempo workout with triceps on it the best. It has been over a year since I have done Body Beast, other than using Lucky 7 a few times. Someday I will pull it out again.

Today I did Body Beast - Bulk: Back. Haven't worked my back in two weeks due to going to work early. Had a great workout. I like this one, it's short and sweet. Then I got on my treadmill and walked a mile again.

Diane Sue - I don't remember if I've done the Tempo's yet, I don't think I have? Wow, sad that I can't remember. I'll check them out. I think Tempo's are in next weeks rotation.

Today I did Butts and Guts, all of the workout and the bonuses. That was plenty. I forgot how much work this one is.

Today I did Body Beast - Bulk: Shoulders. I really love this workout. I added my 1# weighted gloves and wow, what a difference 1# makes for shoulder work. I went to just about failure with every exercise. I can still feel it in my shoulders, it was great!!!! I am getting some excellent definition in my shoulders again. I also walked on my treadmill for 1 mile.

Today I did Ripped With Hiit Low Impact 2 followed by X train burn sets chest and back. 68 minutes.

I am now on Block 3 of Body Beast. I'm back to the Build and Tempo workouts. Today I did Build: Chest & Tri's and had an excellent workout. I'm getting used to these workouts now and do them well. When you first start a new workout series you don't really know what to expect but now I do and I know what weights to use. I actually did dips today and did well with them. I'm so excited.

Only thing with this Block is I won't be able to get my mile in on my treadmill because the workouts are longer. But I guess that's ok.

Debbie, nice work. I liked the series so much and took a brief break and went back to it again. It is nice once you know the weights to use and what to expect. By the way there is a May check in :)
