Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for 4/16-4/22

Hope you all don't mind, I'm making this thread for the whole week again. It's easier for me when I have to start the threads so early.

Total body workout today. Same workout as last Monday but in superset fashion. Had an excellent workout. My headaches are gone, I believe I did have a sinus thing going on.

4 sets/5 reps with 1 minute rest between each superset. Good stuff!

SS #1
Underhand Barbell Rows - 77# (up 2#)
ss w/
Incline Barbell Press - 85# (up 5#)

SS #2
Leg Press Station - 240# (up 10#)
ss w/
Elevated Stiff Leg Deads - 30's (Went down on this due to the fact that I needed to use dumbbells - ran out of weights so I couldn't use my barbell)

SS #3
Barbell Curls - 57# (up 2#)
ss w/
Close Grip Bench Press - 85# (stayed the same)
***I used 87# with the first set for CGBP but felt it in my shoulders. I lowered it a couple pounds. Probably shouldn't go that high with this exercise. Bad me.

STS Bis, Tris and shoulder, meso 3 and about 20 min of cardio

4 sets, 8 reps

shoulder press-45# barbell
bicep barbell curl-45#
tricep lying extension-16# dumbbells

side lat raise-16#
bicep curl on ball-20#
tri extension-15#

bent over lat raise-16#
concentration curl-seated 20#
cross body tri extension-16#

This morning I did Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Dynamics, 54 min, 400 calories. This is with my Polar FT-60 HR monitor that gives me lower calorie burns. HR got up though. I would post it but I would have to climb back up stairs to get my workout log. If I remember right, this was 80 calories less than what I get with the F-6 Polar HR monitor. I woke with a terrible headache this morning. I am dragging but have a have to do list of things to do before I go back to the other house on Wednesday. I will be glad when all is settled and I can do a rotation that I can commit to. Not sure if I posted Sunday's workout. I did Cathe's High reps skipping shoulders. Still came up with the headache and neck pain. I use my neck and shoulders way too much and have a lot of tension there no matter how hard I try. I am trying to stay fit while doing this moving stuff. Yesterday I swept and cleaned areas outside and cleaned cabinets and shelves in the office, sprayed for bugs, cleaned hornets nests, cleaned floors. Hung more curtains and rods. Loads of windows. I am pooped !!!

Debbie, once a week is fine with me. Being first always takes extra time to start when all you want to do is post and go to work:) Nice workout!

Roseyn, not sure if I missed it? Did you quit Jamies workout? Or are you subbing some of Cathe's ?

Diane Sue, I subbed with cathe, although, I kind of jumped to phase 2, adding a bit of cardio, trying to eat my 5-6 meals, drink my water and see what happens. I do feel better already taking the time to eat is so important.

Today was cardio and although it was really hard getting out of bed this morning, I had a great workout and kicked some butt.

I chose Cardio Coach #5. Haven't done this workout in forever. I remember it being a little bit more intimidating than it was this morning. I had a fun time with it and did the whole workout.

CARDIO STATS:
57 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
20 minutes in zone
32 minutes above zone
483 calories burned
3 miles traveled

Today was total body and I had another excellent workout. Same workout as last Wednesday (Wednesday already?) only in superset format.

4 sets/8 reps with 1 minute 30 second rest between each superset.

SS #1
Upright Rows - 47# (up 2#)
ss w/
Squats - 80# (up 5#)

SS #2
Hammer Curls - 22's (up 2#)
ss w/
Overhead Dumbbell Extension - 35# (up 5#)

SS #3
Flat Barbell Press - 80# (up 5#)
ss w/
One Arm Row - 35# (up 5#)

That is all....

Where's Teddygirl?

No workout. I made the drive to the old house for a week. Really had very little sleep. I needed to get here early enough to run some errands.
I will get a workout in tomorrow before I take the girls to school. More packing.

Roselyn, I had used some other workout videos too. That is why I was wondering. Nice work:)

Debbie, good workout. How long is this rotation?

Teddy, good job on getting STS in;)

Today was cardio. I should not have taken that night time decongenstant because I did not want to get up this a.m. I did and dragged myself to my workout room. Can't say I had an excellent workout, but I had an ok one.

I chose Cardio Coach #6 with Candace (whatever happened to her?) and skipped challenge 3 and the last interval of challenge 4 because I ran out of time.

CARDIO STATS:
46 minutes total
7 minutes below zone
24 minutes in zone
17 minutes above zone
369 calories burned
2.5 miles traveled

I'm so glad it's almost Friday...

Diane Sue - This is an 8 week rotation.

Today was cardio, I did Insanity Max Plyo and Insanity abs, I do notice some changes in my body, I believe I was doing too much cardio (and that was compromising muscle growth, what I have learned recently) I notice your workouts, Debbie, are like this, no cardio on weight days and i was adding cardio sometimes on those days. It is amazing the things we can keep learning about health and exercise!!

Have good workouts everyone

This morning I did Cathe's Lower Body Blast and added to the w/up, turkish get ups for 3 min alternating sides, some rotations with the TRX, and TRX pistols. Total time was 71 min and calories burned was 430. I need to do some cleaning and packing before I pick up children from school.

Debbie, 8 weeks is a good time frame for a rotation. I always have a hard time with the 12 week ones. I know Candace only did one cardio coach. I thought she had survived cancer?? I remember her story on the beginning of the workout.

Roselyn, I have found that all of the cardio is not necessary but I still find myself wanting to do it. We can overdo anything and a lot depends on a person's goals.

Teddy, nice job getting Cardio Coach in.

Debbie: Funny you mentioned you had an ok workout, I did too. I went to bed later than normal and dragged out of bed at 4:45 almost talked myself out of workout. Nice job.

Rose: ^^ 5 on Insanity;) nice job.

Diane: Nice workout  I have been TRYING to get my house clean, but to tell the truth I never feel like cleaning anymore, except my bathrooms.

Tomorrow, suppose to be; pretty good weather, I hope I can get in a evening run. I will be so happy when we get into the 70's and 80's argh....all this up and down is driving Ms. Daisy crazy:eek: Have a wonderful day all.

I have never been so happy that it's Friday! Knowing that is what made me get up this morning.

Today I did Total Body and had a great workout. Same workout as last Friday only in superset fashion.

3 sets/15 reps with 2 minutes rest between each superset

SS #1
Tricep Band Pulldowns - Green band
ss w/
Hamstring Curls - 40# (up 5#)

SS #2
Incline Dumbbell Press - 25's (up 5#)
ss w/
T-Band Pulls - Green band

SS #3
Plie Squats - 17# (up 2#)
***I did three pulses for each rep and switched hands with the dumbbell and added one rep to equal it out. So total 16 reps for this.
ss w/
Lateral Raises - 8's (used green band last week)

No ab work, ran out of time. I should have done some at my 2 minute breaks. Oh well...

Teddygirl - Hope you can get that run in this evening, it's suppose to rain after 6. I'm tired of the up and down weather too, our springs suck.

This morning I did URX-MT Patrick Goudeau Metabolic Strength Cardio, 44 min, 403 calories, HR 140 Avg-162 Max. I then did Cathe's Gym Styles Back and Bicep premix. 35 min, 222 calories. Total time was 81 min, and calories burned 625.

Hey Guys:D

I am home today; car problems argh.....:mad:Today I did d-11 back and triceps and went for a 4 mile run. This week ends Meso 1 on to 2.

Nice workout everyone:)

Morning:D

Today, I did Cardio Kiciks and d-14 legs. Me:rolleyes: going car hunting today, argh... means freaking car payments argh, surely not happy about that, but what's a girl to do. Have a wonderful day all;)
