Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for 3/19

Today was total body and I had a pretty good workout. Same workout as last Monday only in superset fashion.

3 sets/18 reps with 2 minutes rest between each set.

SS #1
Incline Dumbbell Press - 25's (up 5#)
ss w/
Band Pulldowns - All three of my bands - got a great burn

SS #2
Bulgarian Split Squats - 12's (no increase)
ss w/
Lateral Raise - 8's (no increase)

SS #3
Seated Dumbbell Curls - 13's (up 1#)
ss w/
Lying Tricep Dumbbell Extension - 13's (up 1#)

Foam rolled a bit. I rode my motorcycle Saturday and the muscle in my left shoulder blade started bothering me again. I think I need to get other handlebars or another set of extenders that bring the bar closer to me. Very frustrating. It was awesome riding, though!

Good morning Guys,:D

I hope everyone had a good weekend, I did; three of my grandkids was over for weekend, you talkin about being busy, gee! No workout this, morning I was to freaking tired could barely get up to stop my alarm from buzzing.

This evening will be going for another run.

Saturday, ran 4.5 miles, did good considering it was my first run outdoors:rolleyes:
Sunday, ran 3.5 miles:rolleyes:

This morning I started with Cathe's Hiit 30/30, 28 min 201 calories, max hr 158. I was surprised I couldn't get it up higher than that. I then did Chalean Extreme Lean Circuit #1 legs, biceps, and triceps 45 min 241 calories. I followed with Les Mills' Pump Step 31 min, 251 calories, max hr 157. I finished with Kelly Coffey Your Best Body Premix core and yoga 22 min, 115 calories. Total time was 2 hr 6 min and calories burned 808. It has been pouring rain in buckets since early this morning. DH is supposed to be comeing in tonight:D

Debbie, nice workout. It looks like things are going well for you so far. am sorry the motorcycle handlebars are causing you difficulty. I gather your bike is one of those that you are leaning quite a bit into a forward position. I swear that looks uncomfortable along with feet behind. I often wonder who designed that. I am sure it was nice to get out for a ride. We need to get ours in for it's first service and a recall. Hopefully the rain lets up when dh is here.

Teddy, glad you enjoyed the grandchildren. It is fun but can leave you tired. Nice job on the runs. I have not been on my treadmill in awhile. After that run the other day my shins are sore.

Diane Sue - No, I have a cruiser. I sit upright on my bike but my handlebars are too far away from me. I put extenders on it last year to pull it in about 4" but it could come in another 4" imo. I have a Yamaha V-Star 650, google it. It's compared to a Harley Sportster. I can't wait to ride again! Maybe sometime this week.

Nice workouts everyone!

Debbie , I understand . We had a V Star at one time. Hopefully you can find something that will work .
