Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for 2/24

Hi all, just wanted to check in. Been really lazy this week. Doctor's appointment went ok, just like I thought it would. I had no pain so she couldn't find anything wrong. She did tell me to stop lifting so heavy and try doing more light weights, higher reps so I'm in the process of finding a rotation that will do that for me. I plan to start on Monday.

Hope you are all doing well. I haven't had much time to check in and see what everyone is doing. Sorry about that!

Debbie, good news that nothing is wrong!

Today I did Athletic Step Jam, Medicine ball and stablility ball abs from Core Circuit and S&H chest, making up for yesterday, I woke up with a stomach bug:-/

Has anyone done Les Mills dvds? and what are your reviews?
 
This morning I did Chalean Extreme Burn workout#3, 31 min 200 calories. For cardio I did Rapid FIre Results Flash Fire Premix that has two kickbox and drill segments with biceps, triceps, and core. I skipped the w/up and stretch on this because of time, 31 min, 256 calories. Total time today was 62 min and calories burned 456.
Burn Circuit workout 3 weights
sumo squat with overhead press 17.5# dumbbells 12 reps up 2.5#
lunge with calf raise 30# dumbbells 12 reps (down 1# from last time since I think I was losing some form with the knees last time)
squat with lateral raise 12# dumbbells 12 reps up .5lb
lunge with frontal press 17.5# dumbbells 12 reps up 1#
squat with calf raise 31.5# dumbbells 12 reps
sumo squat with delt raise 16.5 # dumbbells 12 reps
squat with double overhead press 17.5# dumbbells 12 reps up 1# Breakdown 3 reps slow 17.5 # reps overhead press
lunge with lateral raise 12# dumbbells 12 reps. Up ,5#. Breakdown is 3 slow pushups
sumo squat with calf raises 25# dumbbells 12 reps breakdow 3 slow sum squats

Eating has been good lately. No junk. But, today I am taking my granddaughters and the baby to a school frozen yogurt social at one of the smaller malls. It ought to be fun anywayl

Debbie, I don't know how many times that I finally take the plunge and make an appointment to see the doctor and then the symptoms are not there. This can be good though, right. I hope the new plan works for you. Didn't you recently do some lower weight stuff for awhile? It seems that it helped you out.

Roselyn, I only have the 3 cardio les mills dvds. I want the others but hate that I have to pay for a barbell with them. Most of them are not that long. They seem overpriced to me but I will probably eventually get them. They are made after the bodypump workouts. The instructors look good but they say you won't build bulky muscle doing them?? I sort of want to see some muscle so I doubt I would want to do a long rotation with them . That is just what I think and I could be totally wrong since I do not have them all.
