Should have done about 20 minutes of cardio but didn't. Not sure why, I'm just not wanting to do cardio much. There's something new! :D

TOday was the new lower body dvd for me, going to do some light cardio later after my running around this morning, I am off work today, I work at a church rectory today is a holy day so no work, it gives me a little more time to get some stuff done, have good workouts everyone.

Roselyn-I take it you are Catholic :D I forgot it was a feast day....

Debbie-nice workout, and I am still shocked the way you speak of cardio  It is so unlike you :D

Yesterday I did Kickmax bootcamp premix-it was the blasts, and combos 2-4 plus the warm and stretch. I had a pretty good workout, I really need some new shoes though, my "running" shoes are not that great for lateral movements. There are a pair of nikes I want to try that are cross trainers made for someone like me :D Today is another cardio and I am not sure what yet.

Cheryl-Holy COW!!!! You have been busy and not in a good way. Did your stone pass on it's own? Do you get these often? I hope you get better soon, those things are no joke. And thank you for being amused by my electronics blunder  It must have been quite a site!

Good Morning -

Debbie - Great workout, there ~ :) I think Theresa made a "shock cardio" pun? Wish I'd said that :p .

Roselyn - Glad you have a day off. I really like that new lower body workout. I haven't tried the floor/barre work yet. Hope you enjoy your time off :).

Theresa - That Bootcamp mix is my favorite way to do Kickmax. Smiled at the way you described the Nike's you want. What could that mean? Someone like you - The Hardcore line with spastic reinforcements :p Your DVD player is behaving then? Hope you have a great workout today.

Cheryl - So good to hear from you, but not good to hear you've been down. During times I've been unable to be 'active,' I get that way too. It's tough - and you are so 'mile a minute' with your schedule and all. I've heard kidney stones are over the top painful. I hope you continue to feel better and can be good to yourself while you recuperate. I am currently working to organize my Beagle Iditerod team (really need to look up the spelling for that one - especially as Skyler and I fully intend to 'own' the event). Watch for it in the news ;) Laughed my head off when you suggested that, btw.

Yesterday, I did Insanity's Pure Cardio. :D :D :D Had a good one. Legs today. I have a rough plan for some heavier work and will be using the squat rack program as a template (with some modifications due to equipment limitations). Some ss cardio tonight or Insanity's Cardio Recovery (or both?). Those later workouts can be pretty tough to gear up for, but I'm usually glad I made the effort. Must remember that at 10 P.M. tonight

Hope you all have a great day.

Lori

Lori- yay for your pure insanity workout :D. You are an evening workout girl too, I get it. I can't function before 10 am. The player did cooperate, it must know :D. And lmao at the spastic reinforcement, that is me to a T

This morning I did Turbo Fire Hiit 15, 137 calories 17 minutes avg hr 138 max hr 172, then I did Cathe's High Reps 67 min 400 calories. When I returned from school drop off I did Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown level 2, 29 min 124 calories. Total time was 1 hr 53 min and calories burned 661.
I need to see if I can find work sheets for High Reps or make some. I did Cathe's weights or a little heavier throughout. I like the usuage of the band with the weights in this. Good workout.

Roselyn, enjoy your time off and running around getting things done:)

Debbie, nice work on the supersets. I have had to push myself lately to do cardio. I used to love it. I guess that is why a lot of days cardio is shorter for me. I used to feel I had to have at least 1 hr 6 days a week no matter what.

Lori, I like Cardio Recovery. I keep forgetting about having it. I like to take it onto a leg day. I rarely have the motivation to workout later in the day. I still can't believe I used to do it around midnight all of the time. DH worked different shifts so I would start working out after he left and then fall into bed in some kind of coma:D

Theresa, the crosstrainers do make a difference for the lateral moves. You really should try to get some.

Roselyn - Hope you enjoy the Lower Body workout. I need to preview that one. I hear it's good.

Theresa - LOL about the cardio! You know, I use to be a cardio queen. Loved it. Of course that was before I discovered lifting weights. Oh well... Nice workout! I need new running shoes as well and lateral supports would be awesome.

Lori - Sounds like you have a plan there! Have fun with your workouts!

Diane Sue - I use to feel that way about cardio too. Now I know better. The thing that keeps me lean is weight lifting. Cardio - to me - is just to keep my heart healthy. So I figure 2 days a week would be enough. :p Also, I did read what you wrote about the Total Body workout. I'm glad you like it. I can't wait to try it out!

Cheryl - Wow. I sure hope you will be good to go soon. Those things always scare me. Sorry you had to go through that.

Where's Teddygirl???
