Good Morning :p

I'm just starting us off. I'm getting ready to do BM2 scrambled eggs Ouchie, 80 minutes of puuure bliss :eek: bbl
 
Not much of a workout for me today. I overslept and I have a busy morning planned so I didn't have much time to work out. I did 20-30 minutes of Walking aerobics on the Rebounder (jogging) while listening to 3 Doors Down and then I did Yoga in 10 - Release & Let Go segment. Only burned around 200 or so calories.

Busy last two days with the end of the month. I did Ripped 1000 on thursday and still have DOMS, yesterday I just alternated some cardio on the elliptical with blasts on the stairmaster. 55 minutes and burned 780 calories. My highest heart rate was 186 and average was 162.

Char, good news is a relief for you and your family. I hope there is a great supportive team at your local hospital for his radiation therapy.

Lora, love 3 doors down!valslides were 25 at Target, the line was soo long I had to boogey out of there for a meeting, will have to go back next week to buy them.

Dallys, so sweet about the bird, hopefully he will hang around visit when he is finally freed.

Deb, so freakin hot here too...with no end in sight. I'm starting your rotation tomorrow. Are you using some nutrition calorie counting website for your meals? I finally started with the protein shakes again yesterday, forgot how wonderful BSN cinamon tastes. Is there a point to using the ON over the BSN at certain times of the day??

Hermia, Butts and guts is one my fav's...is part of my upcoming rotation.

Linda, so sucks to be sick in the summer, hang in there.

I need to get my picture trail back up...and figure out the smiley's and things..BBL

Now I remember why I love SE so much! It's tough but fun...I am all sweatie, even my dreadlocks are ringing wet. I'm gong to prepare me a protein shake take me bubble bath, and walk to Walmart only 25 minutes one way and back.

I was going to do MIS but now thinking to do BM2 upper body NO doubles :eek:

Thanks, but I think he is not gonna need much support to go thru radiation. I think he will be just fine. I mean, from what the doc says, it just causes alittle upset stomach, but he can always take something for that. Chemo would be MUCH worse. I really appreciate everyones concerns for him. I am just so touched how so many have reached out to us and have been concerned and praying.

Well I am down to 115 now..WTH???? I have no idea how. Funny, when I am 5 pounds heavier..have no idea how either. hehe.:eek:
 
Morning Ladies - I am Utah at Snow Bird. yesterday we went on a beautiful hike and got to see the wildflowers. It was a pretty strenuous for me - becuase it has been so long since we hiked. We had a great time. Today we are going to Park City for the arts festival. Hike again tomorrow. take care!
 
This morning I had a great workout. Had lots of energy and I'm glad because this workout took way over an hour.

I did Gym Style Biceps and the standing part of Gym Style Legs.

BICEPS
Barbell Curls:
50# - 2 sets/10 reps - 4/4 count
***I was leary about doing this with 50# but I was able to do it and keep great form.

Dumbbell Partial Reps:
12's - Lots of reps.
***These burned big time.

Concentration Curls:
15# - Lots of reps with different counts

Concentration Curls:
20# - 1 set/10 reps using a 3 up 2 down count

Curl Up/Reverse Downs (Zottman Curls):
15's - 1 set/10 reps

Hammer Curls:
15's - Lots of reps and different counts
***Was going to use 12's but I'm glad I used 15's. This felt great.

Wrist Curls:
12's - 2 sets/16 reps

LEGS
Barbell Squats:
65# - 3 sets/16 reps
***Last set had sets of low ends. I forgot about these. They got me good.

Dumbbell Front Lunges:
20's - 2 sets/8 reps

Dumbbell Rear Lunges:
1 set/tons of reps.

Plie Squats:
2 sets/16 reps w/low end pulses
***Wow, these burned big time.

Leg Press (Step Ups):
Purple Band - 2 sets/16 reps each leg

Elevated SLDL's:
55# - 2 sets/lots of reps
***Probably could have gone heavier, but she did a lot of reps with different speed counts.

Slow Motion Dumbbell Lunges:
12's - 4 sets of a really slow count w/pulses and holds
***This exercise is just evil. I laughed because Cathe uses 5# dumbbells. I KNOW she could have gone way heavier.

Calf Raises
***These are the ones that usually put me in pain for a week.

That is all...

I'm expecting to be uber sore tomorrow.

Teddygirl - What made you think I was going to do KPC today?? LOL!

Amber - Which rotation are you going to do? I use ON in the mornings because it has no artificial sweetener. I buy the 100% natural ON whey. The BSN has artificial sweeteners so I limit my consumption of it.

Back from my walk and enjoying second cup of coffee :D walk was 1 hr and 20 minutes.

Debbie: Nice work!:rolleyes: I'm going to start my UB workout as soon as I eat a little something, and rest up a bit, may have a bowl of Cheerios or make Pancakes. My bag, I thought you said you was going to do KPC :eek: Are you riding today, come get me, really, we have to meet soon.

Okay me need food, I haven't eaten anything just had a P Shake, ttyl:D

BM2 SE kicked my butt!! I had to skip the plyo blast parts near the end, but was still near exhaustion when done. Calorie burn was 958! Ave HR was 165, max 182. I'm stunned by that. WTH with that repeat screen in there, it repeats itself, does she mean repeat it 3 times then for a total of 4 times going through that combo? Glad I ignored that. That is a perfect alternative to LoMax with a great lower body burn, just what I needed.

Debbie, I'm doing your leg blast fall winter/07: I need start day 1 on Sun and make Thursdays my rest day though, any suggestions? Should I start day one on Friday?

Day 3: Imax 2
Day 4: GS Back, Bi's & Shoulders
Day 5: Legs & Glutes; C&W ab work
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Kick, Punch & Crunch (no abs)

Week 3
Day 1: GS Legs; Power Hour abs
Day 2: GS Chest & Tri's (with incline work for chest, add an additional set - 3 sets total for each exercise)
Day 3: Rhythmic Step
Day 4: GS Back, Bi's & Shoulders
Day 5: Pyramid Lower Body; PUB ab work
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Kick Max (if abs are in this workout, don't do them)

Week 4
Day 1: GS Legs; Low Impact Circuit ab work
Day 2: GS Chest & Tri's (same as week 3)
Day 3: Low Max
Day 4: GS Back, Bi's & Shoulders
Day 5: Butts & Guts; BM2 ab work
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Cardio Kicks

I'll be working from home today and doing laundry...so BBL.

Char- so relieved to hear this. The way you have dealt with this has humbled me. So glad for you two.

OK, so last night, def burned some cals, and yup, no time to pee till after 9. Not good with all the bladder problems I have been having! EEK! Also only had time to eat half my sandwich. Figured I would be starving by the end of the night, but wasn't at all. And I get to do it all again tonight!
Down just over 4 pounds!!! Think my body is finally getting used to eating smaller portions and still ffeeling satisfied. OK, getting ready to do Boot Camp, and then some extra leg work, but I haven't decided what yet. Maybe a B&G premix, since it is my favorite!!!!

Deb- you def make me want to get the GYm Style Series even more now. It's on my Christmas list lol!

Teddy- I love all your walks. Must be relaxing, while still exercising...sweet.

Amber- that rotation looks like a good one. I love working legs!!

Lora- hope you get all your stuff done today. SOmetimes it is good to sleep in, like I did today....till 10:30!!

I hope your sore from doing BM2. I don't know which is worse to cause soreness, but I swear I need to dust the cobwebs off my drillmax cd..that one works you overtime. lol. Now what is up with your lack thereof of food??? As if I should be talking...I didn't finish my tunaick yesterday.

Great job on the burn! Not to mention losing 4 pounds. Sounds like your revving up your metabolism. Going to Post Office on Monday and give them a piece of my mind.

Very nice workout. Sounds insane with your heart rate up that high. Only thing make my heart rate that high is with hubby. lol. Anyhoo...very nice! You must be high now from all the burning. hehe

Thanks girl! Sent you back a pm response. Glad you got your pm set up so no weirdos can bother you. lol. Anyhoo, great workout. So different when you workout with Cathe and do the different counts. Still trying to switch things up myself and going thru my Oxygen magazines and see new things I need to try. Didn't get DOMS in my biceps this time, but in my triceps yesterday which is great for me cuz I usually don't get the DOMS in triceps lately. Did much better on those. Shoulders doing good..no DOMS yet. Probably cuz I been going lower in weights, but will get back to heavy soon when I feel like it is safe enough or maybe just take my chances. hehe. I gotta itch, ya know. I don't like going lower. lol.

OK, finished my WO. Did all of Boot Camp, then did PLB stability ball segment. About an hour and 20 min all together. Son Chase was doing it with me. Too cute. I am very afraid of how sore my hams are gonna be tomorrow!! I forgot about that ham work with the ball. Talk about BURN!!!

Char- yeah, can you believe that about the envelope! So disappointed. What's wrong with teh tunaick???? lol

I Really need to shower now. I am so sweaty and smelly lol!
 
I took two days off.. yesterday was chest/shoulders/tri.. got my bf to spot me for some heavier benches.. looking forward to more of that :)

today was back day again..

OH Pulldowns 5 X 6
Cable Rows 5 X 8
UH Pulldowns X 3
Standing Str8 Pulldowns 5 X 8
Rear Shrugs X 3
Bent Flys X 3

I threw in some biceps as well..

I also tried the pullups UNASSISTED for the first time probably in 20 years since gymnastics -- did THREE yay! then another set of two..
Didn't think Id do any.. but I guess you dont know til you try :) .. wonder if I could do more if I did them towards the begining instead of the last..

I did the easier version of parallel grip, but anyway..
