This morning I had a great workout. Had lots of energy and I'm glad because this workout took way over an hour.
I did
Gym Style Biceps and the standing part of
Gym Style Legs.
BICEPS
Barbell Curls:
50# - 2 sets/10 reps - 4/4 count
***I was leary about doing this with 50# but I was able to do it and keep great form.
Dumbbell Partial Reps:
12's - Lots of reps.
***These burned big time.
Concentration Curls:
15# - Lots of reps with different counts
Concentration Curls:
20# - 1 set/10 reps using a 3 up 2 down count
Curl Up/Reverse Downs (Zottman Curls):
15's - 1 set/10 reps
Hammer Curls:
15's - Lots of reps and different counts
***Was going to use 12's but I'm glad I used 15's. This felt great.
Wrist Curls:
12's - 2 sets/16 reps
LEGS
Barbell Squats:
65# - 3 sets/16 reps
***Last set had sets of low ends. I forgot about these. They got me good.
Dumbbell Front Lunges:
20's - 2 sets/8 reps
Dumbbell Rear Lunges:
1 set/tons of reps.
Plie Squats:
2 sets/16 reps w/low end pulses
***Wow, these burned big time.
Leg Press (Step Ups):
Purple Band - 2 sets/16 reps each leg
Elevated SLDL's:
55# - 2 sets/lots of reps
***Probably could have gone heavier, but she did a lot of reps with different speed counts.
Slow Motion Dumbbell Lunges:
12's - 4 sets of a really slow count w/pulses and holds
***This exercise is just evil. I laughed because Cathe uses 5# dumbbells. I KNOW she could have gone way heavier.
Calf Raises
***These are the ones that usually put me in pain for a week.

Amber - Which rotation are you going to do? I use ON in the mornings because it has no artificial sweetener. I buy the 100% natural ON whey. The BSN has artificial sweeteners so I limit my consumption of it.
