Morning ladies-
So my family and I went to the casino last night for my aunt and uncle's last evening in town. I could smell the smoke from outside <yuck> I don't miss it at all. I ate way too much and spent more than I should have but I had a good time.

Debbie-I just saw the no diet check in. Nice thread. I keep being wishy washy about really watching what I eat and not overdoing it on the weekend. I go to the store tomorrow and am going to get a good game plan going. I want to see if I can follow something sound for 30 days and see what happens.

Tonight I will do a short but sweet cardio session (HIIT-probably plyometric based). I cannot decide if I want to start p90x sun or mon and I can't decide between the lean or classic rotation.

Quick question: Do you ladies take supplements and what kind if you do?

Well, this is suppose to start my recovery week but I'm doing Meso 1 for one more week. That will take me to my vacation and that will be my recovery week.

I did Meso 1, Disc 7, Chest, Shoulders & Biceps. Had an ok workout. It was one of those mornings where I just should have stayed in bed. It's rainy and cold here today.

Crossover Pushups - 16

Dropsets:
Standing Overhead Press Both Arms (dumbbell) - 20's/10 reps
Standing Overhead Press Both Arms (dumbbell) - 17's/10 reps
Standing Overhead Press Both Arms (dumbbell) - 15's/8 reps (was suppose to be 10)

Barbell Curl- 45#/10 reps different rep counts
Pushups on Stability Ball Elmo Style - 15 reps (This time I got to about 10 reps. Then I stopped. Don't like these.)
Standing Front Raise (barbell) - 25#/15 reps
Seated Incline Hammer Curls Both Arms - 17's/16 reps
Chest Flys (Flat Bench) (dumbbell) - 27's/15 reps
Seated Overhead Press (dumbbell) - 15's/15 reps

Barbell Curl Wide Grip - 40#/21 (7 low, 7 high, 7 full)

Skipped the drop sets of pushups. Didn't have it in me to do them, plus I was running out of time.

Standing Upright Rows (barbell) - 40#/15 reps
Alternatating Standing Curls - 20's/16 reps
Pushups - 21's (7 low end, 7 high end, 7 full (Loved these too)

Skipped the last tow exercises, ran out of time.
 
Theresa - I feel like I have tried all kinds of supplements and not sure if any of them really worked. Right now all I take is a multivitamin/mineral, krill oil and of course the BCAAs that I mentioned before.

- Nice job on doing Meso 1 for another week.

Today was Meso 2 Disc 2 Back & Biceps which had the double wave load sets in it. I hate working back & biceps together, the heavy weights from back work just fatigue my forearms too much before the bicep work.:confused:

I got my workout done before I had to go out this morning

I started with a treadmill run for 25 minutes 2 miles and burned 234 calories . Then I did STS disc 5 back and triceps burning 450 calories. I finished off with the Extended stretch and added foam roller and stretch segment from Muscle and Fitness Hers glute roll with figure 4 stretch, IT band roll and stretch, and Thoracic Roll with spinal extension. Total calories burned was 752. Max HR was 162. The family is coming over later. I did have a small bowl of Carb Smart ice cream for my birthday last night:) Can't eat much of that stuff!

I am not going to list everything I ate yesterday. Calories were low. 1,345 calories, 115 carb;34 fat; 119 pro.
So far this morning I have had some fat free cottage cheese with cinnamon and some raisins in it.
 
Hi everyone - I guess nobody saw the thread I started earlier. I'll repost.

Morning Maniacs -

I'm up early today cuz I have to go back to the salon to get my ends trimmed. My trip to the salon last week was a total disaster. I ended up with orange hair. I'm really upset. I had to get up super early and work late tonight.

I overslept this morning and when I finally dragged myself out of bed, I did Kelly Coffey's NYC. I don't think I used heavy enough weights and I wasn't really into it. Had a lousy workout and only burned 318 calories. I'm guilty cuz my last couple of workouts weren't great either.

Diane Sue - I heard it was your b-day! Happy b-day.

Have great workouts everyone.....hopefully mine will get better soon. I'm also freaking out about my work schedule next week, as I work a lot of nights and then I have to be up at 3:00 am to go to fragrance school in Cleveland one day next week after working a late shift. I don't like stuff like this interfering with my workouts.
 
My family just left. I got lots of new workout clothing. I also got a gift card for Academy Sports so will probably go there tomorrow after I workout. DD bought cake:eek: It had huge chocolate covered strawberries on it so I ate two:D Not the cake just the strawberries LOL
I am dogsitting for my dd tomorrow and Sunday. I hope their dog and ours get along. Our dog doesn't seem to card for their dog. It may be a interesting weekend.
