My eating has been better the last coupld of days. No ice cream pig outs LOL I started with cottage cheese post workout this morning. Later I had a mixed green salad with some spinach, peppers, onions and som eye of round steak that I diced up. Fat free dressing and a little bbq sauce. Snack was more cottage cheese. Dinner ended up being a lean cuisine that had no starchy carbs(beef pieces and broccoli) I also had some brussel sprouts. Later I will probably have some more cottage cheese unless I come up with something else.
Suz, so good to see you check in. I get skinny comments too. Not sure why. I am 5'4 and weigh between 108 and 114 most of the time. I just try to ignore them. Sometimes it will get to me though. I saw this woman at Target shopping that I thought was extremely thin. Probably no wider than a ruler in the hips. Anyway I found myself looking at her arms and glancing down at mine wondering if I looked that thin. I decided "no I don't". If I drop below 110 I try to eat more carbs. Usually I will go back up eventually. Have you tried a weight gainer powder instead of the regular protein powder?? I think that they have more calories in them. And do enjoy some of that cake

The doctor has me on Actonel for osteoporosis so I really need to find more stuff with less impact. I have been using the treadmill a little more doing walking and jogging and not so much running. Usually stress fractures on in the feet and legs though!
Hermia, my dh tells people that I out eat him LOL But the thing is my calories are generally healthy calories in large amounts LOL Funny my dd can't buy cookie dough from her son's fund raisers because she knows she will eat it before it is baked. That is the fun thing about being an adult. If you get up and want cake for breakfst you can do it and no one can do anything about it

If I want to eat half a carton of ice cream and skip dinner I can

Enjoy your date!
Charlotte, I do recall it taking me a few days before I felt up to much with my workouts after I went through what you just did. You were right getting something to eat.
Suz and Debbie, I generally do ok with deadlifts if I am doing them at a slower pace and I only do them once a week. I should have know better than to do them faster with higher reps even though I did keep my weight down.
