Hardcore Extreme Interval Blast W/Legs Premix Sub??

I'm schedule to do this workout (Hardcore Extreme Interval Blast W/Legs Premix) and my left knee, the bad one, doesn't feel quite right. I'm worried about overtraining. I'm known for that :(. I'm not a huge fan of Imax 3 because of all the high intensity jumping. This workout has a lot of that in there, plus the sections from KickMax which are also high intensity.

Any ideas for what to sub? Would any step workout work?
FYI: I did HSTA yesterday and Butts and Guts on Sun. if that helps.
Wed. is PUB.

Thanks :)

Why don't you just do the Kick Max Low Impact premix? It has everything except the high impact blasts.

If you have it, I would recommend Lo Max. Don't sweat it. Whatever you chose to do will be fine. LIC without the weight work would be geat and then tack on the leg conditioning drills from Kick Max which are on HCE.

If your knee doesn't feel quite right, I'd avoid any impact for today. Low Max + the Kick Max leg drills sounds good. Or maybe KPC without impact (turn runs into knee smashes, take all jumps out) followed by the KM leg drills.

As always, thanks for the helpful responses. I have to really "listen" to my knees. If I don't, I'll end up right back where I was a year ago- injured.

I'd forgotten about the KickMax low impact premix. Great idea. I always enjoy Low Max. I can do that one using only one riser just to be safe.

THANKS :)

I do ALL of Cathe's step workouts on one riser now since I started having knee and back problems about 6 months ago. And in another thread, LauraMax posted how she did LoMax on one riser and only burned 5 calories less than two risers. The impact just isn't worth it for me.

So don't feel bad about doing it on only one riser if you end up doing so--most of the blasts are done using the floor more than the step anyway so the height of the step doesn't really matter. Have fun!!
