Good morning everyone!
I'm back from my weekend with my friends. I had a blast! It was so great to get caught up. My friend Chris said she couldn't believe they pass right by our house all the time on their way to their weekend home and didn't even know it. How odd that we are both from LA (born in the same hospital), grew up in the same city, went to the same high school and now we're both out here. I put pics on my Picturetrail album in Torrington Beach. She said that since they can't have a beach house they decorated that one with a beach theme - on the plains in Wyoming. It's funny b/c Chris, the blonde one (and the one who was in my class), lives by Denver and they are tired of the rat race and they love their Wyoming getaway. It is an hour east of where I live and much more isolated. I would go crazy but they would love to retire there. It was great though and fun for weekends. Her sister, the darker haired one, is the one I was closer with and we have stayed in close touch over the years. She lives in Chicago - right downtown - and the city that we grew up in was even too small for her. And it's not that small at all! Anyway, they are both just awesome and I'm so glad we're friends. Now that we know they are so close, they want DH and I to go out to their place with them. I know he'd enjoy it. Both of their brothers are LA County Sheriff Deputies and that's the department that DH started with and I know he would LOVE to go out there when they are in town. But he did meet Chris and Farouk and liked them very much. We rode ATV's and hiked around even though it was SUPER windy and freezing!
We met Aunt Merle and Uncle Eddie (not a real aunt and uncle). He is missing a lot of teeth.

But they were really nice. And Laura Kay and Bill came over for dinner. He's missing even more teeth. But they're really nice too. And we learned a lot about sheep and goats!
I gained almost THREE pounds you guys! Chris's husband is from Lebanon and they make the most amazing Lebanese food. We ate and drank wonderful things the whole time. I couldn't stop putting food in my mouth! I have no self-control! I'm getting ready to do a cardio coach - or maybe I'll do Imax 2. I haven't done that one in a long time and I haven't seen Cathe on my new tv yet.
Diane Sue - I wonder why the long pause in that DVD. That's strange.
Teddygirl - I can't believe you did CC8 when you're sick! You're nuts woman. Take it easy!!!
Today is DH's birthday and his dad and his wife and DH's grandparents are coming over for the Bronco game.
