No workout today. It is a rest day. DH and I have been cleaning out closets.

Lori, yes, I think MIC gets better once you know the moves. I don't hate it but I think for me I just got tired of it and enjoy some others more when it comes to hi/lo. I will have to look at which cast member you are referring to. I think Cedie is the only original one now from the earlier workouts.
 
Gym Style today (back, shoulders, bi's). If I have time, I'd like to do some lighter cardio (no jumping) and/or yoga. I need to do some yard work and cleaning and studying also though, so we'll see.

Diane Sue - Enjoy your rest day - from working out anyway ;) -- you're always accomplishing something. Cleaning out closets is a noble endeavor for sure.

Hi everyone - I'm off today and tomorrow! I will be super depressed on Tues! This morning I did Marc-Oliver Kluike Dance Aerobics. I learned the first 3 combos (had to repeat in spots) and got tripped up on the fourth one.....and decided to call it a workout - since I can only handle so much coreography at once. I j...ust love him....he makes me laugh. He's silly and his workouts are super fun. Max HR was 163 (I put a bit more bounce in my step and really worked it). Workout was 75" with stretch and I burned 790 calories. I also did a brief stretch and Flexible & Free off of Dr. Yoga House Call....not enough stretching though. I'm sitting here drinking a protein drink and waiting for my self tanner to dry so I can get dressed. Going to see a comedy movies this afternoon. Have a great day everyone.

we went to see Killers. It was okay. Not bad. I wasn't expecting much.

Lori - I've gained some weight and I'm not sure if I'm doing enough cardio with this rotation. I've been having a hard time with emotional eating and just overeating. I need to get a grip, as I can't fit in my jeans. I think I'm noticing some definition in some places in my upper body and maybe legs from this rotation, but like I said, I need to lose weight. Maybe I'll take a 2 week break from my rotation and do a variety of stuff with more cardio and then continue the last 4 weeks. My back did adjust a bit to the Tracy workouts with me making some adjustments like keeping my legs bent during the ab work and bending over further during the standing leg work. RE: work, we don't even work on comission.....we just have to sell so much per hour to keep our jobs and the company is VERY strict about that. They let peeps go ALL the time if you don't make your numbers. I guess the latest about the Clarins stuff is that they want to put me in that work station and schedule me in fragrance on some days. I'm not gonna agree to that. I'll wait for something better and stay where I am for now.

Laura - Glad you get some time off!!! Your workout sounded really fun :D - must have been pretty intense too - quite the cal burn. I think I only have one dance workout. I previewed it and realized I didn’t have nearly enough floor space, so I’ve never done it. Afraid I would have pirouetted myself right into a wall :confused: I can be somewhat accident prone.

Re work: I guess I didn’t really understand what it meant to “make your numbers.” That sounds much worse (tougher and more stressful) than commission. I can only imagine a set up like that would have employees living in fear (Duh. I guess you know that). I just keep hoping that something comes along SOON for you. It crossed my mind today (I can’t remember exactly what led to this thought but) what about being the make-up artist for Cathe and her crew or something like that? If I understand your talent and what you love to do, wouldn’t that be great? :D


I finished GS back/shoulders/biceps. If I get the laundry folded and a few other things done before it gets too late, I’d like to do some yoga. I’m thinking about doing another week of Gym Style before moving on but am still kicking that around. I’ll decide in the next day or so.
