I am getting us started. Having my coffee and trying to get the energy up to go do some HiiT and abs. I have to be out the door in a couple of hours.

Hermia, I hope you find your cell phone. I would be lost without mine. I have files in my Docs to Go and lots of info in it. I keep thinking I need to download the find my phone app. I believe Mobile Me will locate your phone too.

I did Michelle Dozois interval burn and abs from total body.

Diane Sue, you are always up and ready to go. Do you watch your adorable grandkids everyday? I hear grandkids are such fun I can wait though my daughter is only 19, my son is 15 lots of time to experience that!!!! Although my daughter has a pretty serious boyfriend, bad for her he is stationed in S.C. in the navy, good for my husband and I??

My workout this morning was Intensity mix step, high hiit, bootcamp 59 min 515 calories. Slo Mo core 14 min 96 calories using 40 lb for roll outs and 8's. Total
Time 73 min calories 611.

Roselyn I keep the youngest mon- fri. The rest range from 11-15. I mostly take them to school and pick them up. Next month there will be a new baby. DD has decided to adopt a baby she learned about through her office. She has 2 girls. This is a boy. The mother didn't want him.
She is in her 30"s and has 2 children one is not living with her. She doesn't have a job.

Good morning -

Roselyn - Good workout, as usual. You and Diane Sue got in some tough cardio this morning :)

Diane Sue - Like I said up ^ there. I used to get up so early to workout, when DS was tiny. I just can't imagine that now; it would be quite a major adjustment. I'm not sure I'd even be able to get the disc in the player. Well done, though -- and good cal burn :) .

Hermia - Circuit Blast IS fun. I think it's all the variety - a little bit of everything and none of it lasts so long. Glad you got to a yoga class but serious bummer about the phone. I sure hope you find it. I bet I'm one of the few remaining souls that does not have a cell phone. I am stubbornly holding out on this. Even my son has one. I'm pretty anti-tech (I say this while typing on a computer -- -- hmmm). Well -- I TRY to be, but they seem to be more and more a part of daily life upon which people rely. Hope as I'm writing this, yours has already been found.

Yesterday, I did STS Total Body, lower body only and so it wasn't (total body, that is ). I also did Providence (thanks, Theresa ;) ). I really wanted to do the entire STS workout but was short on time. Lots of stuff going on right now and I'm feeling spread a little thin. Very happy my leg is feeling better :) :) :D . This weekend, I will pick up with Insanity again (Max Interval Plyo). Today, I'm going to do the upper body premix from STS TB and some cardio. Tri-sets are where it's at -- really like them (like you said, Diane Sue ;) ).

Have a good morning -

Lori

So I got up this morning to workout. Had all intentions of working out. Sat on my couch and watched General Hospital. Bear jumped in my lap and that was all she wrote. I was 2 1/2 days behind on my show so I decided to just catch up with that and can the workout.

However, in defense of myself skipping a workout - Gene and I had to shovel and snow blow my moms driveway. He snow blowed and I shoveled. Talk about a workout. Even though every part of my body was numb, I was sweating. So I'm counting that as my workout for today. So there. :D

Diane Sue - Forgot to mention - very touching, the choice your DD made about the baby. Sad, but if the mother doesn't want it (that was hard to even write), it's a blessing she's finding a home for it. So, you will have your hands really full babysitting a newborn? I think you mentioned this awhile ago but it had slipped my mind. As if they weren't full enough before  Will your training partner also be your babysitting partner, too? Wonder how that will go, although sometimes little toddlers really do pretty well with babies. I did daycare for awhile when DS when 3 or so and he was (sometimes) actually pretty vigilent and helpful. We will not talk about the "other" times  . Anyway, that is exciting (and heart warming) news.

Debbie - Laughing laughing at your post. I say, "Fair enough." Good workout. So there :p

This morning I did CC Candace:rolleyes: I was late for work, a bit, but....had to get my workout on:eek: Yesterday, I tried to do an evening workout, but.....had NO energy...none!!! I started Lowmax, heck, I stopped after the 2nd routine, just wasn't feeling it and gave up. This evening, STS D-5 back & triceps.

I went back and fixed some errors in my posts. I get some odd stuff when I text. My fingers don't hit the keys very well LOL When I originally put Hiit in it changed it to Hoot. Well the workout was a hoot :p
Meals yesterday were:
b-omelet with asparagus and mushrooms a tiny bit of feta cheese
l- Schwann's tuscan vegetable soup with 3 of the Schwann's turkey and pork meatballs broke up in it
s- 1/2 grapefruit
d- carba nada pasta with shrimp, garlic, portabello mushrooms, onion, frozen peas I used a little olive oil and sprinkled some Molly Mcbutter on it for a garlic butter shrimp taste. This turned out pretty good. I think maybe next time I might use a little broth. I need to add this to my recipe book I have been creating:)
s- Adkins bar(really should have left this out)

Lori, I did daycare for a lot of years while my children were growing up. Children can be overly helpful at times;) Like when they want to bring the baby to you:eek: Or push the swing that is automatic and it goes flying. I could tell a lot of stories LOL I am sure Olivia will make it, how should I say it, interesting:) I laughed when I read about you being anti tech. I hear you on that one. When DH got me the Select Tech weights I told him I was surprised and relieved. I was afraid I was going to get an ipad or some other high tech device that would be a source of pure aggravation when I started figuring it all out. I got this other computer and I am not used to Windows 7. I dowloaded pictures and saw them but now they are lost in there somewhere:confused:

Teddy, good job getting CC in.

Debbie, it is your recovery week anyway;) I am sure it was a relaxing way to enjoy that recovery week.

Hermia - I hope you find your cell phone as well. What a pain!!! I'd be lost without mine!

Diane Sue - You are so sweet to watch your grandchildren as much as you do. And that is great about your dd adopting a child. I wish her well with that! So sad that people keep having babies who can't take care of them. Makes me so mad!

Roselyn - Never heard of Michelle Dozios. Is she a good instructor.

Lori - Nice workout! Sounds like you've had a lot on your plate lately. I'm glad the leg is feeling better!! That is great news!

Teddygirl - Nice going with Candace! I know what you mean about working out in the evenings. If I don't get it done in the morning its a good bet it won't get done at all.

Debbie, that dvd by Michelle is really good, and shoveling snow is definitely a workout!!

Diane Sue, I applaud your daughter, how sad that a mother did not want her baby, I know he will be loved.
