Quick check in. I just finished CC#8

Yesterday, ended up with 5 stitches in left ear. In regards to disc 3, I wanted to mention the only routine I wasn't crazy about was the sequential lunge into front kick combo, for me i thought it was a bit to much, having weights in ,hand, next time I will sub it for, hm...... who knowss maybe side kicks. Okay, I am off to get busy.:D I have my family over for dinner today. Have a wonderful day everyone :rolleyes:

It's late but I saw that you posted, Teddy. Sunday's seem to be very "quiet" on our check in and I meant to drop in but got busy. Great stats on your workout :) Like you, I run across moves I don't like for some reason; I sub in different moves that are similar, or even not so similar at all (if I'm wanting to focus on a different movement pattern for a muscle group or something). Did you get the new Cathe workouts? Just asking because Lower Body Blast has a move that is sort of like the one you mentioned, except instead of kicking out, you bring your heel in towards your butt -- maybe you've seen it AND maybe it's still too much like the other one for your preferences. Thought I'd mention it just in case.

I just did back and chest (meso 3, week 3) yesterday and Insanity Core Cardio and Balance today. Had some problems with the puzzle mat in my workout room which cut in on my workout time. Skyler's been peeing on them (the mats) and I had to do some serious deep cleaning that involved moving all my wieghts out of the way (those things are HEAVY :p), along with all my other workout stuff. Naughty Girl :mad: I also had to finish up (mostly) my Christmas shopping for DS today. I have no consumerism endurance and no interest in improving it. Talk about insanity :confused: Anyway - hope you all had a great weekend.

Today I did that new lower body workout (can't remember what it's called right now)--after the warm up, I started from after the second cardio burst and finished out the standing part, then did the floorwork, then calves and stretch on my own.

I can't remember if I checked in yesterday, but I went to yoga class (lvl 2...good workout).

Lori, I had pet issues in the workout room, too. I have my handwashing on the drying rack in my workout room and I had a towel underneath it, which my cat decided was a good place to pee. =(
