Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Week of May 7

Today was total body and cardio. I did what I did last week and in between my sets I ran on the treadmill for 1 min. 30 seconds.

3 sets/18 reps with 2 minute rest between each set.

Dumbbell Bench Press - 25's
(Do you know how hard it is to do bench pressing with a cat laying across your body and fluffing your shorts?)

Double Arm Rows - 12's

Plie Squats - 15# - 3 pulses down, switched hands with the weightss and did 3 pulses down again. Did that 18 times.

Lateral Raise - 8's

Hammer Curls - 12's

Had to skip triceps because I ran out of time.

Was on the treadmill a total of 20 minutes - did about 1.4 miles and burned an extra 152 calories.
 
This morning I did Pyramid Total Body premix then added the core and lower stability ball work. I followed with Low Impact Series Athletic training cardio legs mix. Total time was 1 hr 49 min and calories burned was 733. I got some rest last night and felt pretty energetic this morning. I did use pretty light weights on shoulders and the upright rows and lateral raises o Athletic training was light as well or I stuck with 8# and did bicep curls with a twist over those moves.

Debbie, I had to smile at the cat:) I just always feel that when I deal with extra things like that it makes me stronger. My Dog comes and lies down when I do yoga or weights but when I do cardio she flees. You should have seen her yesterday when the phone rang waking me yesterday. I was trying to step over her!
 
Today was cardio. I almost - ALMOST - went back to bed. Woke up with a headache, which I still have, and just wanted to sleep some more. But decided I really needed to burn some calories so I jumped on my treadmill and did Cardio Coach #1. Ended up having a pretty decent workout.

It was a cardio day for me too. I would have liked to have more time for yoga though. I did I Max 3 58 min, 497 calories, avg hr 135 max hr 167. I then put in Shiva Rea's More Daily energy and did 8 min of yoga so did not finish the full 21 min segment. This was 39 calories. I had to hurry to get the girls to school by 7:30. Total time was 66 min and calories burned 536.

Leg Press Station - 165#

Incline Dumbbell Curls - 15's

Barbell Military Press - 45#

Stiff Leg Deads - 65#

Incline Barbell Press - 75#

Had a good sweaty workout!

Total time on the treadmill was 21 minutes, went 1.5 miles and burned an extra 157 calories! :eek:
 
Today was Afterburn, 53 min, 400 calories. I have to run. Packing up the dog and fish and headed to the new house in a bit.
 
Today was cardio and I chose one of my Cardio Coach mixes. Had a pretty decent workout. I think I'm going to take next week totally off and start a new rotation the week after. I've been going at it for over 8 weeks and I'm just exhausted. So tomorrow will be my last workout for a week.

2 sets/12 reps with 1 min. 30 second minute rest between each set.

Zottman Curls - 15's

Lying Dumbbell Triceps Extension - 15's

Dumbbell Flyes - 20's

Barbell Row - 50#

Squats - 25's (used dumbbells)

Upright Row - 35#

Total time on the treadmill was 18 minutes, went 1.3 miles and burned an extra 136 calories!

No workout yesterday. I wasn't feeling well and had tons to accomplish along with plumbers coming to the house. This morning I did Cathe's Supersets, followed by Amy Bento Ross Kettlebell Dynamics abs, I then did Mindy Mylrea's Bosu workout off of Explode first 20 minutes afer skipping the w/u. I finished with Shiva Rea Power Yoga Flow segment Fire in the name. Total workout was 1 hr 45 min and I burned a little over 400 calories I was trying to get in a little of everything today.
 
First of all Teddy where are you?? You can just say you did nothing and that is fine. I am sure that you are busy.

This morning I did Cathe's Hiit Pyramid and Brook Benton's cardio burn. That is it a little over 60 minutes. My family is coming over today to celebrate mother's day. I am baking chocolate chip cookies with dark chocolate chips(my favorite). Hopefully everyone else is really hungry. :)
 
Today I did Lower Body Blast doing each cardio segment twice. That is all that I got done:) DH and I went out to eat and took a drive around the lake.
