Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Tues May 17

Today I worked bis, tris and shoulders.

4 sets, 8 reps

warm up with shoulder presses

shoulder press 40#
barbell curl 40#
seated overhead tri extension 17#

seated lateral raise 17#
biceps curls on ball 20#
tricep extension 17#

seated delt raise 17#
concentration curl 20#
cross body kickbacks 17#

Then did some lunges, jumping jacks, jump rope and jog in place, will post eats later.
 
This morning I wanted to play with my new stuff and still do my planned Supreme 90 Workouts so I had quite an interesting workout

I started with Zumba Rush 23 minutes, 127 calories, Max HR 131. I thought it was fun and a nice way to warm up. I then did Supreme 90 Cardio challenge day 84, 36 minutes, 235 calories Max HR 149. I followed this with Urban Rebounding Extreme-MT with Keli Roberts Maximum Metabolic Intervals 49 minutes, 362 cal, Max HR 154. I liked it using my new sand weights. This one uses them through most of the workout. Total workout time was 2 hr 5 minutes and calories burned was 835.

Eats today;
1- watermelon (post workout)
2-salad with morning star farms crumbles and southwest dressing
3- protein shake with decaf coffee and coconut milk
4- Chicken and asparagus with garlic and parmesan

Roselyn, nice workout.
 
Anyone ever taken a fat burner and if so what are your opinions? I have a friend who is trying to lose weight and is considering taking one, she has a lot of weight to lose but I am concerned about her safety.
 
My grandson, 11, came in to ask if I had any weights he could have. He has started using them I passed him on some 8's and 10's telling him to get used to the 8's before he attempts 10's. Just had a thought that I do have a second pair of 3's but they are pink and I do not want to get rid of my non pink pair.

Roselyn, I have generally found that they make me feel energetic if I take them early enough before my workout. But they also can make me feel like my heart is racing and not feel well. Especially if I add coffee or other caffeinated beverages through the day. All in all over time I did not really see difference in my physique from when I just watched diet and worked out.
 
Hello! Today was a yoga class, level 2, 55 minutes.

Yesterday was the kickboxing and abs in 4DS, although something seems to be wrong with my dvd...Cathe's voice was a bit ahead of the action in the dvd. It was a bit disconcerting but not too bad. =(
Oh yes, I did a bit of bis and back too since I didn't get those in last week.
