Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Tues June 14

I am starting late this morning. I will do another pure strength workout. I have doms from yesterday's workout. Today is supposed to be chest shoulders and biceps. My shoulders feel kind of sore from yesterdays back and biceps.

Diane Sue - I'm doing 95% better. I'm still going to wait until Monday to start lifting, but I may get up and do some cardio tomorrow.
 
I did Pure Strength Chest Shoulders and Triceps along with abs from Legs and Abs then both stretches 48min, 199 calories. Then I did Kelly Coffey's Train Like a Contender Boxing and Bonus flip up push up, 40 min, 255 calories, Max HR 150. The flip up push up was tough after doing CST. Kelly flips a card and you do that many reps then flip a card for 7 minutes:eek: I then did Zumba Ripped Toning with my granddaughter she used the 1.5 lb toning sticks and I used 3lb dumbbells, 31 minutes, 186 calories HR was 119 avg and 135 max. I will try to post weights later. I went heavier again on most of the exercises. My arms are completely feeling useless ;) We are going to Subway and running errands.

Debbie, I am glad you are better. Weird how those things happen.

Roselyn, nice workout. Someday I am going to push myself to do one of the Insanity Max workouts. I have done the others and the bonus Max Sports intervals or whatever it is called.

Debbie, 95% better sounds pretty good...wasn't that just a couple days ago you had all that pain? When I tweaked my back I was moving like a 90 year old for two days, and then I waited another couple days to workout to be sure. It was pretty crappy.

That's cute your granddaughter worked out with you, Diane Sue. How old is she? When my sister's oldest kid was 3 ish she used to workout with mom and me...mom got her her own hot pink one pound dumbbells. Now, though, she's nearly 14 and about to be in high school, she doesn't seem particularly active. She wanted to be on the dance team, but she's discouraged cuz you have to be able to do the splits. I told her she's got all summer to practice, and besides, she's young! She could learn them easily. I told her even Auntie can do them, and I'm "old"! She didn't seem too motivated, though. =(

Anywayzers, yesterday was no workout due to an all day and well into the night grading marathon.

Today I went to barworks class and it was great...it's a good workout and different, too, which is kinda fun.
