Hi :D

Yesterday, ended up my rest day for the week.

This morning, I wasn't sure which cardio I wanted to do. I decided to do Imax 2 and I did abs from ab hits.:D

Roselyn and Debbie: Awesome leg work.;)

Just a quick hello, I did yoga yesterday. I have been STRESSED  and I really needed something nice :) I will get back here later.

Workout was High Reps upper adding the back 48 min 244 calories, P90X abs/core+ 22 min 142 calories, Jillian's Yoga Meltdwn 29 min 132 calories. Total workout was 99 min and calories burned 512. I will come back and post what I have done the last couple of days. Not a lot of cardio work. Not up for it yet. I am having an allergic reaction to the antibitics. That explains the dizziness I have had. Now, my dil calls and her dd has the flu. We all had the flu shot but she got it. I want all of the illness to be over.

Good morning -

Janie - Thank you for popping in yesterday. I enjoyed your post. I'm (historically) a lurker myself, so I'm familiar with you and your other check ins and have always thought it very sweet of you to make the effort to keep a check in that expressly invites "lurkers" to take the step to join in. I love this group. It's such a cool group of women that help inspire me and keep me going. I learn an awful lot from them, too. Seems like the Holidays take their toll on A LOT of people's schedules and routines. I'm sure you'll get yours back. Good luck with your goals (though it has little to do with luck) and the best year ever in 2011 :)

Roselyn - Max Interval Plyo today. It's the one with the squat and explosive push ups, yes? I'm with you on loving Insanity. I think the month 2 workouts are tougher, BUT I tend to get into a space where there's no time (and certainly no energy to spare) thinking about that when I'm in the thick of them, so they seem to go by fast (or in a sort of ... blur  ). Good work on legs today. You always seem to hit it hard.

Debbie - Nice job today. Looked like another good mix :)

Theresa - YAY yoga :D It really DOES seem to help with stress, huh? Trouble for me, is when I'm stressed, it can be tough to settle myself down enough to do it and let the process just happen. I sure hope you're feeling better. "Stressed" is an awful feeling.

Teddy - I like/miss the Imax's. Feels like it's been a long time since I got to do Cathe cardio very much (except for an occasional one thrown in). Imax 2 is a good one :)

So. Like I said, Max Interval Plyo today. Yesterday, I did Squat Rack Legs (the version I've been using). I had a pretty good workout (really am growing to like Zercher's).

Hi to Cheryl, Hermia, Linda and everyone else I may not have mentioned.

I hope you are all having a good day.

Lori

Diane Sue - Just read your post. Holy COW!!! No wonder you've been feeling so cruddy and having the harsh symptoms. Please take it easy. What did the Doc do? Well. I assume you are off them now, but were you put on something else, or will just having them removed (hopefully) be enough? I'd want it all OVER, too. No doubt. I hope you and the rest of your family feel better, pronto.

My other workouts this week were Tuesday Rapid Fire Mix 6 w/up shadowboxing, heavy bag, floor core added the stretch 54 min 315 calories.
Wednesday Lower Body Blast 76 min with drills 411 calories and Intensity Low Hiit mix and stretch 18 min 104 calories

I had a floodlight go out in the kitchen and needed several odd items, like something for allergic reaction itching, so decided to hit Walmart. What a dumb idea that was. They were so busy. I went to the 20 items or less fast line and the guy in front bought loads of wrapping paper and stuff with 5 gift cards. They did not want to scan. This was not fast. THe kid in front of me was left with stuff and a credit card while his mom kept dropping more stuff by in the cart. Talked to dh who is miles away in Hawaii and he is sick too. What are the odds.

Lori, they suggested I quit the antibiotics(only 4 left) and use an antihistamine for the itching and rash. They said if I get worse again call and they will have something else prescribed for me. It sounds like you have a good workout planned.

Teddy, good workout choice:D

Debbie, nice weights on the supersets.

Roselyn, great job on Mesocycle 3 and Rapid Fire.

Janie, have a very Merry Christmas. I hope you meet all of your goals this next year. It was good to see you check in over here:D

Lori, When I was checking in here, I too felt inspired from all the ladies here and was so impressed with there knowledge, and awesome caring. I learned a lot! The reason I stopped chirping is because I felt I just wasn't true enough to deserve to be in such a great group. I kept failing my goals.:( Since then I've continued to workout on all my exercises consistently and feel I'm no longer a failure. I'm keeping up with my goals very well. Well, except these last few days before Christmas, I've allowed myself some indulging. It's OK, will get right back on it the day after Christmas. Thank you for the encouragement. I'm going to have to look up Zercher. Great Job on your workouts.

WD, It felt good to visit. Wishing you and your beautiful family also a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'm so sorry to here that you are not feeling well. Hope everything is worked out before Christmas for you. As always, even when you are sick you still continue with workouts. You are amazing. Thank you for your encouragement.

Debbie, Had to say that you still are a rarity and never seem to stop inspiring me with your workouts, and sharing your knowledge with others is Awesome!

Take care,

Janie
