Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Thurs Aug 15

Morning all! Still have that knot in my shoulder blade area, but it's not as bad as it was. I was in some pain this weekend. I tried everything to get relief from the pain, massaged it, rolled it, put icy/hot on it. Massaging and rolling seemed to make it worse, not sure why. Icy/Hot felt pretty good on it. I wanted to start lifting today but decided not too. I was still having trouble sleeping because of the knot. I'll see how I feel in the morning tomorrow and decide if I want to start lifting again or not.

Today I decided to do one of my Cardio Coach mixes. Had an excellent workout, loved it! My HR monitor kept losing my HR every time I started running, very frustrating. Seriously, isn't that why these things were made to begin with? To keep track of your HR when you RUN? Or do high intensity workouts? Unreal. Every time I started jogging/running faster then 4.0 mph, the thing would lose my HR.

Anyways, still had a great workout. I've missed Cardio Coach.

Today I did Amy's Kettlebell squared full power mix which is the whole workout but 2 cardios, two intervals, 2 cardios, 2 intervals 63 min, 357 cal. I then did 4 Day Split Biceps and triceps followed by TRX 2 sets biceps 12 reps and 2 sets triceps then the flexibility TRX moves, 45 min 220 calories. I finished with Shiva Rea Power Yoga Flow namaskar mandala 11 min, 49 cal.. Total time 1 hr 59 min, 629 calories.

Debbie, I never can figure why they do that. Even my more expensive Polar does that. Also happens sometimes when I bend over to do something. I guess it is not tight enough or something. I just ordered a new strap. Not sure if it will help but it might be handy to have a second one when the other is drying out.
 
Today I felt better, but not entirely, so I did Cardio Pump Hi/Lo, which is a relatively light workout. It was kinda disheartening, though, cuz I did get fairly winded. I guess some of that's due to still being sick, but still...ugh. I've had a lot of time off what with the honeymoon and being sick and I hate feeling like I've regressed.

Oh, and I have to buy a new band (fortunately those are cheap) because my cat decided to pee on my current one. I don't understand why that's a appealing thing to pee on, but whatever. She's still a good kitty. =)
