This morning I did two URX-MT workouts. I wanted to get in core and abs so I did Greg Cook's Metabolic Intervals and Circuits repeating the ab work at the end with the sand weights 54 min, 406 calories. Generally I burn more with this but I guess because I used the 2# sandweights for most instead of three it made a difference. I did the last interval and ab work with the 3's. I think between Amy's and this one they are my favorites. I also like the Patrick Goudeau one that is 45 min and the last 15 min are abs and stretch(mostly abs) After this I did the Gay Gasper Total Body Metabolic Strength workout with no w/up. 45 min 367 calories. In this one she does not use weights till there is 12 min left and then there is some strength work along with jump squats and core. Very Brief stretch. I was trying to get done early so maybe dh and I would have a good internet connection to talk so no yoga or anything. Total time spent was 99 min and calories burned was 773. Not too bad
I kept feeling like I was not getting my HR up though with the 2# but my shoulders were kind of spent from yesterday's weights.
Eats yesterday:
1- slice of cabot's 50% reduced fat cheddar and watermelon
2- Salad from Muscle and Fitness Hers latest issue Bacon Blue Burger salad
3-Kashi dinner Spicey Black Bean Enchilada
4-Kashi Chicken Florentine dinner
5- Amy's Mexican Casserole Bowl. I should have had something other than this close to bedtime. I was lazy about cooking yesterday. Still had 540 calories remaining above what I spent. So it was not bad. At 207 carbs and 81 pro I could have done a lot better.
Edited to add that I walked the neighborhood with my next door neighbor last night. No monitor or anything but I guess that would be extra exercise. She does it all of the time but is doing a contest right now on time walking.
Roselyn, Mindy really does have an extremely busy personality. I have several of her workouts. Most of the time I don't want to do them. Even the last BOSU workout which I think is great but it does not draw me. The grandchildren loved one that I have that she used all kinds of balls with.
I bet it was a tough workout.
