Oh my gosh it seems like November just started.

Today was upper body, bis, tris and shoulders, I did meso 3 week 3

4 sets, 6 reps (1 minutes between reps)

warm up barbell front press 26# 12 reps
warm up barbell front press 28# 10 reps

Standing Barbell Front Press 38#
Barbell Curl 38#
Flat bench tri extension 16#

Seated Lateral Raise 15#
Incline Curls 20#
Seated overhead extension 15#

Seated Rear Delts 15
Seated concentration curl 20#
Cross Body Kickbacks 15#

Diane Sue, I have tried the vanilla in the Myofusion and it is good.
 
Roselyn-is your birthday today or tomorrow? I remember you saying it was at the end of the month and I didn't want to forget it. Nice workout this a.m. :)

Yesterday, I did a TRX metabolic circuit which consisted of 5 exercises 30 sec work 30 sec rest for 3 rounds. I had intended to do a quick 15 min HIIT but my treadmill wouldn't lower....DH figured it out though :D I finished w/ a flexible warrior segment. Today was : pistols (30 sec per leg-and I did this with a bench not the TRX), atomic pushups (pushup into a suspended crunch), trx row, reverse balance lunges, side planks. 3 x's through 2 min rest between rounds.
 
This morning was Back and Chest. Had a really good workout. I upped my weights from week 1 and really felt it.

1 minute rest between each set.

BACK
Barbell Rows - 55#/12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)
Barbell Rows - 75#/8 reps - 3 sets (up 5#)

One Arm Rows - 35#/10 reps - 3 sets (up 5#)

Pullovers - 30#/12 reps - 3 sets (up 5#)

CHEST
Pushups - 12 reps/3 sets
***These felt good. Love using pushups as a warmup.

Barbell Bench Press - 90#/8 reps - 4 sets
***This was tough. Reps 7 & 8 in each set was tough. Good weight here.

Incline Dumbbell Press - 35's/10 reps - 3 sets
***Tough again, last 2 reps were tough. Really felt it in my upper chest.

Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes - 25's/12 reps - 3 sets

Drinking a green protein shake right now. Really need it. Haven't had greens in a while. My body is starting to revolt!
 
I still have this nasty cold. I feel like I pulled a chest muscle somehow. I had a hard time sleeping. I had to split my workout today because I got up late and took the girls to school. I did Step Moves before I left 45 minutes, 374 calories, HR avg 135- max 152. When I returned I did STS Med Ball no partner abs 10 min 43 calories, and finished off with Budokon weightloss workout yoga and martial arts. Accelerated workout 39 min, 176 calories, Max HR during the martial arts kicks and punches 128. Not a real tough workout day. Hopefully I can do a total body workout tomorrow. If I am still sore I will do either Legs and Glutes , or Butts and Guts.

Theresa, I am pretty sure Roselyn's birthday is tomorrow. Looks like some good workouts:D

Roselyn, Myofusion Vanilla is my favorite Protein Powder. I need to place another order so I don't run out. I checked GNC and the did not have it. They are overpriced anyway.

Debbie, I bought some Biochem Vanilla Greens and Whey. I need to find some way to use it that tastes good.
 
You guys are so good to even remember my bday is coming tomorrow. Great memories.

Diane Sue, I think I tried the myofusion after you talked about how good and creamy they are. I love the chocolate too.

Great workout Roselyn :) - You're a Sagittarius, right? For some reason, I know a lot of them with birthday's in late Novemeber, so that stood out to me. Do you have any special plans to celebrate?

Debbie - Tough workout -- nice weights :). Good on you for getting some green in (festive too :p).

Theresa - Looks like an excellent, tough mix, and glad you got your treadmill fixed :)confused: did not mean to rhyme). Was this one you sequenced yourself?

Diane Sue - Did you pull your chest muscle coughing? I'm sorry your cold is still so bad -- it's been hanging on for awhile now. Glad you took it a 'little' easier today. Still a good workout, sick or not.

Hermia - I have a couple Baron Baptiste's and a Yoga Zone with Lisa Bennett. All of these are really pretty good and do a decent job in long holds with some faster flow segments (especially the Yoga Zone). I also have an MTV yoga (think we talked about this). I kind of like it - it's shorter so sometimes that's nice, but like you said, it really doesn't spend much time in any single pose. I've gotten better about not feeling I have to be moving fast, breathing hard in every single workout and have come to appreciate yoga more and more. It just seems to help -- in a lot of ways.

Yesterday, I did K,P & C (may fav longer premix). I subbed in Insanity Abs for the stability ball work at the end (need a new stability ball :confused:). Also did biceps. Leg work today; planning a mix/match something or other. How's that for being specific? I was just remembering some pretty good segments from older workouts I don't much do and thought I'd try to combine them somehow for something different.

Also - Theresa and Diane Sue - My virus protection has bonked. I've had more trouble with that this year. I need to pick up/install a new one before I check in on Facebook. I think that's where I caught my last bug and I'm skittish about risking it. The PC doc must have just put a trial version in when he fixed it last time (grrrrrr). Anyway. Just wanted to let you know. I'll get that done in the next day or two.

Lori, I think I may have pulled something coughing. Even my rib cage is sore. I use Avast for my virus protection. I have used it for years. They have a free version that you can get. You just have to update it about every 6 months and put the key back in. I used that one for a long time and still do on my old laptop. I have better luck with it than McCaffe. We bought it and I took it off. It was messing up my wireless printer and causing me problems.

Theresa - Nice workouts. They always sound so spastic! All those atomic things you do! LMAO!!!

Diane Sue - Maybe you should take a rest day. It sounds like you need one. I hope you feel better soon. What is Biochem Vanilla Greens and Whey?

Lori - Nice workout! I like KPC but really have to be in the mood to do it. I think I od'd on it. That and Cardio Kicks, too. Use to LOVE that workout, and now I don't even want to think about doing it. Weird! :confused:

Todays eats were
Post workout-Biochem Greens and Whey with pineapple shake. This was better with the pineapple.
B- Berries with raw honey and kefir
L- spinach and mushroom egg white omelet
S- Peanut Butter Zone bar
D- South Beach Diet Quick and Easy recipe book Turkey Sausages with Kale and Chickpeas. This is good. It uses Italian turkey sausage.

Debbie, BioChem is a brand name. I have used their whey powder before. I just decided to try the one with the greens. I am trying to consume more green veggies. They do have other flavors.
