HARD CORE FITNESS MANIACS FOR MON NOV 22

Cannot believe Thanksgiving is this week.

This morning I did upper body, shoulder, bis, tris, I followed Meso 3 week 3, not really following a set rotation.

Shoulder Standing Barbell Front Press w/up 25# 15 reps
Shoulder Standing Barbell Front Press w/up 27# 15 reps

4 sets, 6 reps
Shoulders Standing Barbell Front Press 30#
Bicep Curl 37#
Flat bench Tri extension 16#

4 sets, 6 reps
Seated Lat Raise 14#
Incline Curl 19#
Seated Overhead extension, tris 16#

4 sets, 6 reps
Seated Rear delts 14#
Seated Concentration curl 20#
Cross body kickback 15#

Then I did abs from Body Max (the first BM)

That is it, Happy Monday
 
This morning I started my workout with Body Max warm up and Cardio stopping at the power circuits, then I did combo of upper from Body Max and Body Max 2 starting with chest from both etc through all upper then finishing with Body Max str.
Workout was 84 min, 620 calories.

Yesterday I did Power I.C.E. intervals-it's a mix of plyo and core work. It's a 30 min workout and that was just right for yesterday :D I have plans for a total body workout today, but I haven't got much further than that.

I wasn’t sure what I felt like doing this morning. My first thought was to hop on my treadie, but I’m getting burned out with that.:confused: I ended up doing Muscle Max and man oh man, me feeling it now:eek:. I won’t post stats; I mainly followed Cathe’s lead, went a bit heavier on a few routines, that’s it.
Roselyn - Happy Monday to you too:) Your workouts are always good. I plan to FINALLY start and FINISH STS. Will be starting Jan. Nice work

This week is supersets and today I did Chest and Back. Had a great workout.

1 min. 30 second rest between each set.

WARMUP:
Double Are Dumbbell Row - 15's/12 reps
SS w/
Pushups - 12 reps
***Only 1 minute rest here, did 3 sets.

SS #1
Barbell Bench Press - 85#/8 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Overhand Barbell Rows - 70#/8 reps - 3 sets
***This superset felt good. And I like doing rows overhand better then underhand. Just realized that today.

SS #2
Incline Dumbbell Press - 30's/10 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
One-Arm Rows - 30#/10 reps - 3 sets

SS #3
Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes - 25's/12 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Pullovers - 25#/12 reps - 3 sets

Then I got on my treadmill and did a fast paced walk for 20 minutes. I did 3 mph walk on a 3% incline. Kept my HR up pretty good. Walked 1 mile.

Roselyn - STS I think the STS individual workouts can stand on their own - notice a lot of people (including me ;) ) using them that way sometimes. You had a very good workout. I'm a little stunned that Thanksgiving's just a few days away, too.

Diane Sue - Good idea (blending those two the way you did). Everything got hit very well, I'd think. Have you ever tried that mix before?

Theresa - I'll be interested to see what you come up with for today. Who does Power I.C.E. ? I did a search and came up with an Ice T album (he has a noteable album called "Power" with some 'interesting' song titles :p) , some ice auger fishing gear and a frozen sports drink :confused: Made me laugh.

Debbie - I think you are on a roll :) -- Many great workouts. I like the feel of overhand rows, too.

Teddy - Muscle Max is a good one (my first Cathe workout :) ). Efficient, and it doesn't mess around. Nice job :)

Yesterday I did Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs (Insanity). Had a really great workout. I have several errands and an appointment today, so I'll get in something - but I'm not sure what or when. I have chest, shoulders and tri's scheduled -- also some kb and pistol work. We will see.

Roselyn - Nice workout and weights!! 6 rep workouts are my favorite. You can really push yourself to see how heavy you can go. 6 reps is nothing. So when lifting heavy you just keep telling yourself - "it's only 6 reps." LOL!! Great rep range to challenge the strength.

Diane Sue - Nice workout today. I like the BM weight workouts. I'm sure you'll feel it tomorrow!

Teddygirl - LOL! How do you go from a treadmill workout to doing Muscle Max? Too funny! Nice job, love MM!

Song question: I heard a very old song on the radio last week, one from either the late 70's or early 80's. I think the title is "Lucy and Ramona" or it's "Sunset Sam", but I've searched both titles and can't find the song. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Do you know the artist??
 
I went to the nutrition store after I dropped off the girls this morning. I also went to Target and bought my first Christmas present. Usually I am about done by now.

Eats today are:
Post workout- Macro Greens bar
breakfast- veggie omelet
snack- greens and whey shake with 1 Tbs almond butter
Lunch- Veggie soup
Dinner- Stuffed peppers
Snack- protein shake

Lori, yes, I have combined those two workouts a few times. Tomorrow I am doing both of them using the power circuits. I will probably Add the lower body from MIS. Then Wed will be cardio and both abs segments. This way I get in cardio and a decent amount of weight work. It is funny sometimes what you come up with when searching for something on the internet.

Debbie, nice work on the supersets and getting in some treadmill time as well:D

Theresa, is that a workout from a book??

Roselyn, I don't think it is necessary to always follow a particular workout plan. I enjoy skipping around once in awhile. Nice work.
