HARD CORE FITNESS MANIACS FOR MON FEB 28

Today starts my 7th week of this rotation. Only two to go.

Today was straight sets and I had a pretty good workout. Woke up to about an inch of water in our bathroom. This weather is so unbelievable. I also just got a call from my boss saying our office was flooded and he doesn't want met to come in other then to go in and do the deposit. So it must be bad. Great.

Anyways...

3 sets/18 reps with 2 minutes rest between each set. I hate 18 reps!

Flat Barbell Bench Press - 65#
T-Bar Rows - 50#
Squats - 75#
Lateral Raise - 8's
Barbell Curl - 35#/1 set; 40#/2 sets
Weights Bench Dips - 35#

Roselyn-good workout this a.m., and I hear you on the weather. It was nasty here too.

Debbie-I can't believe you are on your 7th week. would you send your rotation sheet to me? I will pm you, but do you still have my email? it's the gmail one. And eta-holy crap on the water, I hope it's an easy fix

Yesterday was a rest day, Saturday I taught a kettlebell inservice, and Friday I did a barre workout. That barre is no joke, and I intend to add it one to two days a week. It is low impact but hurts like you-know-what :D Today is cardio and yoga! P.s. I am down 1.8 lbs!!!!!!

Hey guys :D

Guess who was late this morning:rolleyes: We lost power last night, no alarm. Anywho, My upper body is sore today, from 4DS yesterday. Even tho, I said it was a bit easier, I was able to lift heavier than I have ever when doing this workout:rolleyes:

Tonight's workout is going to be d-14 legs

I got my workout in and had to make the 1 hr trip to pick up my taxes.SO did a couple of errands while I was out. Finally finding time to eat something and it is almost 1.
I did Amy's Kickbox Surge and core 75 minutes, 511 calories. THen I did Kettlebell Goddess Legs and Butt and Abs doing only 1 joint mobility and one stretch. 45 minutes 232 calories. Total calories today was 743 and time spent 2 hours.
Kettlebell Goddess weights
box pistols 20lb 3 sets 8 reps
front squat 20lb pair of kettlebells 3 sets 6 reps
1 leg deadlift 20lb pair of kettlebells 3 sets 4 reps each
step back lunge 25lb 2 sets 12 reps
good mornings 20lb pair kettlebells 3 sets 6 reps
swing, clean, snatch 20lb 5 sets
turkish get up 20lb 2 reps each side
renegade row 15lb 2 sets 6 reps
farmers/waiter walk off 15lb kettlebells ( I did the version holding 1 overhead and one down to the side)
slow kettlebell twist 20lb 2 sets 10 reps
russian twist 20lb 2 sets 28 reps
power breathing crunch/situp 8 center, 6 each side

Roselyn, the weather has really been odd. One day it will be in the 70's then the next it is freezing. Last night the wind blew a lot.

Debbie, sorry about all of the water. That has to be a miserable thing to wake too. I hope you can get everything taken care of quickly.

Teddy, it is always when the power goes out that I realize my back up battery in the alarm is dead.
 
Roselyn - Got your pm from today. I pm'd you back. The first time you might have did my screen name with only one "k". That was my old screen name until they updated this site. Then I couldn't get that one to work so I made up the one I have now with 2 "k"'s in freak. Anyways, got it! And you're right, where is the happy medium? We had tornado warnings all night, tons of rain and high winds, thunder and lightning. I couldn't believe it. This winter has been HORRIBLE!

Theresa - Now that I hear what everyone else has had - including my work place - our inch of water was no big deal. My mom had 5" in her basement and that never happens. I can't remember the last time she had water in her basement. Luckily it all receeded and now she just has to mop it up a bit. It's been a nightmare of a day. I've been up since 4 a.m. :eek: Congrats on your weight loss! Doesn't that just feel great!

Teddygirl - Hasn't it been fun with all this rain? At least we didn't lose power, that would suck. Nice going with 4DS!

Diane Sue - Nice workout! 2 hours! :eek: You go girl! Yes, anything that has to do with water is a miserable. My dh went home early to check on our house, hopefully all is well.
