Morning Maniacs -
This morning I'm a bit sore from Insanity yesterday, but I chose to do weights anyway. I did Gilad's Cutting Edge workout #2. I really liked it. Again, the format was weight segment, kickbox segment, more weights and cooldown. I also added on my new Shadowboxer DVD with the contraption (with the lighter resistance cord). I did the 20" workout and then I did Flow Yoga with Jennifer Lynn and the Fitness Fix foam roller segment (ouch that was painful).
I work late today....so I had some extra time to workout.
I posted about Insanity yesterday for those that are interested. I forgot to mention that even though my Max HR was only 168 during Insanity, it hovered around 155-160 the entire workout....so it's a pretty decent workout and I'm sore in all different places than normal....so I think it does a decent job of working your body. I'm not sure if the rotation would be bordering on overtraining or not.
RE: The Physique 57 DVDs.....they look good, however, I was not in the mood for that sort of workout today. I'll have to try them soon though.
Have great workouts everyone. Off to get ready for work.
ETA:
Diane Sue - we were posting at the same time. I hear ya with the interruption thing. I got interrupted several times during my yoga workout. I was upset! Took me forever to finish.
Deb - I'm thinking about starting STS in the Fall. I hope you enjoy it.
