Today was an unscheduled rest day. By mid-day yesterday my low back started to bother me and by the time I got home it was really tight and achy. I took 2 Aleve and did some back bends, which made it feel a lot better, but still not that great. I laid on ice as well.
I feel a lot better this morning but didn't want to chance it. I'm not even sure what I did that aggrevated it. So I'd rather lose a workout day then be laid up for weeks. I know how this goes, I've had it before. And aggrevating it is not a good idea.
I'll eat clean today and try to cut back a bit on calories. My eating hasn't been great. I really wish I could get this under control and just do it.
My workout this morning started with Tracey Staele's Hi/Lo Med ball Med ball mix 50 min 324 calories Max Hr 152. I then did STS Total Body Upper Body only mix 25 min 157 calories. This felt tough, I think my upper body hasn't fully recovered from S&H. I then did Kimberly Spreens Cardio Combat Surge Med Ball Mix 31 min, 215 calories Max HR 148. I finished off with the Fusion stretch from this workout skipping the w/up 18 min 79 calories. Total workout time was 2 hr 4 min and calories burned 775.
Debbie, sorry to hear your back is bothering you. That seems to happen to me when I do deadlifts to fast or over rotate in some moves. Once in awhile I forget and am not careful I guess. I don't know why it is but once I let my diet get off a bit I am on a roll. Tonight is El Chico night for dd's class so I am going. Not a decent thing on the menu healthwise. I generally get the monterey grilled chicken but those darn chips are on the table
Roselyn, 1000 calories is not near enough calories to survive on with the workouts you do. I am sure that you will get what works for you figured out.

DB seated alt curls 15/12 15/10 15/8 10/20 ) DB hammer curls (2 sets) 10/12 10/12 In and outs (2 sets) 15/8 15/8 (hate!! concentration curls, never feel the work so I subbed for hammer curls)
Diane Sue, I know about the calories I need to eat every 3 hours, I know, I think I am going to set a timer, I get busy and then you know how you get past the hunger and just go on so thanks for the input
