Today I did one of my
Cardio Coach Mixes that I made up. It was an hour long and I made it all the way through. My breathing was excellent and my heart rate, although it stayed between 140-160 pretty much the whole workout, was awesome!
This was my mix:
Warmup
Challenge #2 from CC #8 - 2 - 8 minute runs w/2 minute rest beween each run.
Steady State
Challenge #2 from CC #7 - 10 - 1 minute alternating hill climbs/sprints w/30 second rest between each.
Steady State
Challenge #2 from CC #6 Sean - 5 - 1 minute sprints w/1 minute rest between each sprint.
Cool Down
Really felt good but honestly I did more of a slog then a jog. I was worried about my inner thigh and with the 2nd challenge in this mix toward the last 3 intervals I started feeling it get tight. The steady state (which is a walk for me) let it loosen back up and I was good to go for the 3rd challenge in this mix but the last 3 sprints were borderline painful. Had to slow way down to a slog with those but my HR stayed up and I was happy about that.
