Happy Weight

I used the calculater and it seems like a weight I would like to be at, but need some more time to get there! ;-)

Mary

I checked mine, and I have not weighed my happy weight since high school. I got down within 5 pounds a few years ago, and could not maintain. I guess my happy weight will have to be a bit higher..

Brandi:)

Mary - I'm in the same boat. I'm usually between 2 and 3 pounds of my happy weight so I'm not far off.

Marcy

Well, I'm down 7 pounds - but even if I lose 31, I'm still about 10 from my "Happy weight". I'll go for the 31 then see if I really want to be all that happy.

I am almost one pound under my "happy weight". But then again, I am on a twelve week intense program right now, diet is super strict, training intense. So whatta gonna do? Oh, and I put in large frame, which I think I am, I can barely reach around my wrist-thats large frame right? Who knows, if I put medium frame then my "happy weight" would be much lower and I would be that much "unhappier!"

My actual happy weight is about 4 pounds above this number. Its where I can eat my little extras and drink my wine like the wanton woman I am!}(

Katie, what does a calculator know about it anyway? You look great!:7

This is what I have heard about measuring frame size. Wrap your fingers around your wrist. Do they touch comfortably without overlapping? Then you are medium framed. If they overlap, small frame, if you cannot touch or can barely touch, large frame.

But I could be wrong, it kinda makes sense though. I have large hands and large wrists, my ankles are not huge but probably larger than average, thank goodness I have nice muscular calves to offset them otherwise I might have the "cankles" going on!:7

Yeah, I WOULD NOT be happy and this so called happy weight! LOL Its 12 lbs more then I weigh now!
I will call it my mad weight! hehe
Lori:)

Well, I am 20 pounds below my "happy weight". It said that my happy weight is 140 - I weigh between 118 and 120 - that's what I fluctuate between anyways. I guess I am happy at this weight!

I can never figure out if I am small or medium frame. Maybe I'm small to medium. I do think I have little wrists, if that means anything. If I do medium frame, I'm only 12 lbs over my happy weight (which seems about right to me since I'd like to lose about 15 more pounds).

Hmmm. Interesting calculator.

Holy S**t! I guess I'd better get off my butt and get to my happy weight because I am plumb fat!

It is amazing how weight just creeps up on you.

I think I'm small to medium also, maybe closer to medium. Anyway, assuming medium, my happy weight is actually what I weighed before I found Cathe 15 pounds ago! So I guess now I'm at my extra-happy weight?? :p

Well, I am underweight, according to this calculator, whether I put in small or medium frame. I should be either 152 pounds (hideous) or 145.2 pounds for small frame at 5' 8".

Actually I'm usually around 128-130 pounds and I am very comfortable at this weight, in a size 4 or 6 dress/jeans size. I would not be happy at 152!!!

Interesting. I always thought I was a medium frame, in which case my weight is right on the money with what the site says.

According to the frame size chart on this site though I just fit in to the small fame category which puts my "happy weight" at about 7 pounds less then what I currently am. I doubt that will ever happen to be honest. If it does I'll have to shop in the kids department for clothes! The vanity sizing is so ridiculous now that I am a 2/4 right NOW!

I didn't see the frame chart either, but I guessed right. I'm at the low end of medium frame: just barely 6.25" for over 5'5" tall. I was happy at their "happy" weight, but much happier at my current weight.
