ROTFLMAO!! You girls just crack me up. Terri, I loved your little blurb there.
Well, I was on the phone for exactly 4 hours. It was my 80 year old Aunt Rose whom I treasure dearly. I had promised her at Thanksgiving that I would call her for a good, long chat and when I didn't, she decided to call me instead. When I saw her number on my caller ID I debated about whether or not to answer the phone, but then I thought if something was wrong and I didn't pick up I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I knew it would be a loooooooooong call -- it always is -- which is why I hadn't called her yet.
My kitty just knocked over the big wastebasket in my study and he's laying on a pile of shredded paper -- LMAO
Dana, your DH! I completely agree with Robin. You gotta take the bull by the horns and whip him into shape! You DESERVE some time for yourself.
I love this all for one, one for all mentality! That's what Cardiohateville is all about. So, today is New Life...what day is this anyway...Oh!...it's New Life Wednesday and the goal is 5#'s. WE CAN DO IT!!
Arista, I need to go back and re-read your lingerie story, but I seem to recall a clever quip or 2. You are very funny.
Robin, oh man, I almost forgot about the leather teddy. LMAO! It's been awhile since you've pulled that out of the dresser drawer}( . I saw your post about the ruby earrings. Yes, your DH is a keeper for sure! I think you should post a picture of your lovely self wearing those earrings. --I'm glad to hear that Greyor is holding his own. My DH is familiar with that hospital and he said it has an excellent reputation. He looked up the list of pediatric specialists and he said they're all from fancy schools
Mariah, I'm on my way to your house where it's nice and warm
. I love your V-Day plan. You're absolutely right -- we should love ourselves! Why would anybody else want to love us if we couldn't even love ourselves?
Jen, your neighbor is 55 and having trouble with his knees? Now just remember that Robin and I are both soon to be 52, okay, and we are very, very young. I mean we're really young and HOT. We're HOT, baby! LMAO
Hey, some mornings I can barely drag my sorry butt out of bed.
Diane, I know exactly the mentality you're talking about. It's no different in medicine. I agree with Robin -- you're definitely doing the right thing and that's what my DH would tell you, too. I know it's not possible for every mother to be a SAHM, but if you can do it, it's just a great gift for your children AND for you, too. --Oh yeah, ellipticals have a very large footprint. Mine is in my bedroom. I don't like it in there but I don't have any place else to put it. The space I fixed up for a workout room is way to small. It kind of junks up my bedroom but I wouldn't get rid of it for anything. I seriously love that machine
DH gave me a card for VD with a very sweet sentiment. We don't usually do up VD, but I made him a lovely steak dinner last night with roasted fingerling potatoes and roasted cauliflower and broccoli which he loved. He made it to the airport without any trouble. It was funny because he called me 3 times while I was on the phone with my aunt. On his last call the first words out of his mouth were, 'you're not STILL on the phone with Aunt Rose, are you?", LMAO!
Okay, I need to feed kitty and put a heating pad on my neck and ear -- lol! I'll BBL. I didn't miss anyone, did I? If I did, I'm sorry. Oh, I almost forgot about that pancake recipe -- I'll post it tomorrow:*
Uh oh, I just heard a loud noise that sounded like it came from my roof. I better check it out.
