Yay! Happy Birthday Nancy!!! I no longer have Cathe access at work (internet police blocked all things fun:() but I'm glad I'm here today to wish you a very happy birthday. I hope you're having a fabulous day!

Thanks, guys! The birthday was fabulous. I spent the whole day shopping, and didn't get much. Then, as I was walking to the restaurant to meet my Mom for dinner, I passed the Dana Buchman store. I was a bit early for dinner, so I stopped in. Next thing I knew I was buying a chocolate brown power suit. It was a petite and fit well, but they had a free tailor who nipped and tucked a bit to make it dynamite! :D

The dinner was drop-dead out-of-this-world delicious. We had three desserts (we only ordered two, but you get an extra when it's your birthday):

CHOCOLATE-PEANUT: Dark Chocolate, Peanut and Caramel Tart, Meyer Lemon Purée, Peanut Powder, Praline-Citrus Sorbet

SWEET POTATO: Spiced Sweet Potato Tart, Red Wine Caramel, Maple Whipped Cream, Pistachio, Vanilla Salt

PASSION FRUIT: Passion Fruit Cream Enrobed in White Chocolate, Ginger Caramel, Mandarin Sorbet

And there were beautiful flowers in a tiffany vase on the table from my DH who's on a business trip in Europe!

It was an awesome birthday celebration. :D
