Halloween

How many of you, like myself, are staring at their stash of Halloween candy, just wishing that a bag would "accidentally" fall on the floor and split open? Halloween is evil.

I hope you and your children all have a fun and safe Halloween. And, don't forget to set your clocks back. (Cool, an extra hour to do a Cathe workout!).

I bought peppermint patties because they are "lower" in fat and calories for myself. I don't know if I even want those after seeing Cathe's abs !!

Unfortunately, I've had three bags that just happened to fall on the floor and tear open...Darn it!!....I hate it when that happens}(

I love those little Snicker bars right out of the freezer. YUM:9

I've hidden all the bags way in the back of my closet. I did however buy M&M's! Now these I just can't say no to! My children are so excited for Halloween. Morgan is going as a black cat and Michael is going as a Western Cowboy! My daughter asked me to go as a witch so she can be my black cat. That should be interesting.....;-)
I'm looking forward to it and I'll be glad when it's over! Last year my kids still had Halloween candy at Easter time! SUsan

Those candies are driving me nuts! every day I open the closet and there they are - smiling at mex( I have only succumbed to the temptation once though!

My eldest son is a dinosaur and my youngest (2yrs) is a zebra - too cute!

I'm dressing up as a witch. my DH loves saying "MOMMY's a witch!" LOL (he's kidding)

I put my halloween candy out in the freezer in the garage so I will have to go outside to get to it. I finally had to go check it out to make sure it was alright today:9 . We have a halloween party with tons of decorations and games every year at my son's house. This year it is on Saturday.

One of the girls here brought candy to work today. All the good chocolate stuff. I hate to admit that I have eaten my share. In front of the bowl of candy, on the floor, she placed this doormat that screams everytime you step on it. This "booby trapped" the candy and it was so funny today hearing it scream everytime someone snuck a piece of candy.

We are giving out caramels this year. So when I bought the caramels for the children, I got an extra bag of for us. So we have plenty of candy to give out this year.

I just found out from a neighbor that one of the homeowners down the street works for Nestle and gives out King Size candy bars. My girls only went to about 6 houses last year, but my husband will make sure they make it down to that house tomorrow night!
We are going to an adult party tonight, so I did ME this morning. I know there will be some good snacks and drinks!

OK--here's my strategy this year: Today is Saturday. I waited until yesterday to buy my halloween candy so that it wouldn't be laying around for a week or 2 (then I would eat it and have to buy more, while hating myself for doing it!!) }( I went to buy the good stuff--you know the hershey fun size variety packs, of course. But, then I remembered that tightly fitting Elvira costume that I'm supposed to squeeze into tonight for a super-fun party-----I JUST SAID NO!!! So, the verdict is that I ended up buying crappy candy that nobody likes so that it wouldn't tempt me. Isn't that pathetic??!! my favorite little trickortreaters are gonna suffer b/c of my sweet tooth (or, better yet, my fear of it!!!) ;( Just something new I'm trying this year--we'll see if I stick with it or break down and buy some freakin' chocolate!!!!!!11:9
