Corn Contains Honey..True or False

How many calories in a 22 piece serving? 120? 150? or 180?

No looking up answers :p
 
I think candy corn does have honey (at least I think that is what the package my husband bought said)!

I would guess 120 calories per 22 piece serving.

What do we win if we are right?

I think the corn has honey in it. And my guess to the calories for the 22 piece serving is 150. Am I right??? :eek:
 
I am thinking that corn does not contain honey. Some sort of sugar maybe. How would honey get into corn if bees make honey? Or is the corn genetically altered? Mmmmm.

22 peices = 120 cals.

My guess is that candy corn is sweetened with HFCS, just because that seems to be the trend, and that a serving contains 180 calories. But please tell me I'm wrong, Cathe. I love to eat candy corn at Halloween!!!
 
I'm going to say yes on the honey. I think we tried making candy corn years ago with dismal results....but I think I remember honey.

I vote 150 calories.
 
I thought the Brach's brand does contain honey but not the cheaper versions. I'm going with 150 calories.
 
I don't want to know how many calories are in it. I haven't eaten much candy corn in like 10 years and for some reason this year I have already gone through 2 bags myself. It's like I can't stop. And the funny thing is I am not even sure I like it.
 
I would bet it has a lot more calories than we think, so I'll say 180. And no honey!

Does anyone bite the colors off one by one like me? That's the only way I eat it!:eek::)
 
fyi- i've had candy corns on the brain now for hours and I really don't even like them!! gee...thanks Cathe!! haha!! Now give in- were you asking us these questions becasue YOU were eating some candy corns?? hmm???
 
I would think candy corn contains corn syrup nowdays (even if it may have contained honey in the past?)

I'd also guess 150 calories per serving.
 
I'd say it contains vanilla. Maybe honey. Definitely HFCS. I'm going to go with 150 calories. I seem to remember that by halloween candy standards, a handful of candy corn was a more viable option.
 
And the answer is....True, they DO contain honey (though not all brands do but a good amount do) and they are 150 calories for 22 pieces! So now the question is Trick or Treat???? heee hee hee hee heeee (my best witches laugh)....be back after class, I got some candy corn to burn ;)
 
I'm done burning those corny calories off :p

Like many of you, I too don't really think they are anything special but for some reason once I take one it always leads to two, three....:eek:
