Well, our Halloween parade was last night and my DH's company's float won first place!!! My DH works for a Yearbook company, so their theme was "Yearbook Superlatives" - you know "Best Smile", "Best Dressed", etc... Anyways, we had a BLAST doing the parade and I thought I'd share a few pics to get you all in the Halloween mood.
My DH was "Head of Class" and I was the "Drama Queen". Looking back, I think I looked more like a Barbie drag queen. Oh well, the little girls thought I was cool.
My DH's pumpkin head riding to the parade. This was an actual pumpkin that I carved for DH. Unfortunately, it was a little rotten inside and poor DH had to have it on his head for an hour!
One side of the float. There was another whole set of signs on the other side.
Our paper machete pumpkin that was big enough for several of us to fit inside:
My DH, isn't he handsome???
Getting set up on the float. There were about 20 of us in various costumes. That's the "Class Clown" to the right.
This is one half of the "Cutest Couple". Her dad was Frankenstein.
DH and me at my parents' house afterwords:
Here we are again. DH was happy to get that thing off his head!
And last but not least the link to the article that was on the front page of the paper today!!!
