So i started with basic step and have moved on to my loves of cardio and weights and now low impact circuit. I tried to do a basic step because i was having a rest day and just wanted some thing simple. Well it barley raised my heart rate=) and was such a snoooze! I love that i can see my progress and am becoming a cathlete=)))))))
 
Thats Awesome Erin, CONGRATZ! I am still doing the basic BUT I am now able to do the 6 in riser with NO problem at all!! I also just started the low max and am trying to figure out the beginner sts workout manager! I was beginning to feel like I was the only one progressing thru the beginners level :eek: NOT that thats a bad thing, but its more encouraging and nice to see that I'm not alone:) Keep up the good work!!
 
That's so good!! I've only done IMAX2 and Low Max a few times and am still trying to get thru them. I've done all of IMAX2 but only one of the premixes on Low Max.

I ordered Intensity and it will be here next week but I'm just going to start off with the premixes on that one.
 
That is wonderful news! Just you wait until you go to do a blast and its no problem at all, that will blow your mind, I promise;)
 
Ohhh.....I wouldn't worry about starting "at the beginning". Everyone starts somewhere, right? I actually have just allowed myself to start doing step again, but only 1x a week while I see what my knees can currently handle, and am theoretically only doing Basic Step, Low Max and Cardio and Weights. But I had to try Intensity.....cause......:p

For some reason, Cardio and Weights will always be one of my favorites. It's just fun to me, and the "Buttercup" song at the end really makes me happy. Although it's not a happy song, lyric-wise, go figure.

Anyway, I know I'm new, but I have been lurking for years, and I just wanted to give you encouragement, because I used to feel the same way. Somehow along the way, though, I've changed, and when I run into something fitness-wise that is challenging for me, I can (sometimes) say "oh good, I have lots to work up to, it will be fun." Not always though. :p

congrats!! Have you tried Step, Jump & Pump? It's about 30 min of step then you do hi/low floor aerobics and weights. It is a FUN workout.
keep going and don't give up!!
