H2H kettlebell DVDs?

Last edited:
I've never used their DVD's, but Jeff Martone (the H2H guy) does the Kettlebell certs for CrossFit. There are some videos from those on the CrossFit web site. I've gotten a lot of good info from them on form and such.

He's a good teacher.

Cool, thanks for the links! I think I'll give the first one a try & if I like it enough I'll go for #2. I'm gonna try Phil Ross's too--did you know that's who Amy Bento trained with to make her advanced KB DVD? He's about 20-30 minutes from me in NJ, I'm thinking about taking a class w/him.

<sigh> yet another expensive exercise addiction to add to my list.

Those look interesting! I hadn't realized that Phil Ross was who Amy trained with.

Laura, Deep Discount has the new Phil Ross for a lot cheaper than Amazon. (It somehow found its way into my on-line shopping cart there the other day! ;))

I have the powerbody video by Phil Ross but have yet to try it out. I've watched it through though. I'm waiting for Amys to come out which was apparently made at the same time? I have Beths second one on preorder too.

Hi Jess, I pre-ordered Beth and Anthony's new one, too! I hope it comes out before STS gets here! I remember Amy saying something about how her KB workout got delayed b/c of some problems with producing it, and that it may need to be re-filmed. I hope that doesn't happen!:(

If you are new to kettlebells Jeff Martone is not exactly the best guy to start with. I have 2 DVDs from him, and though there are some traditional moves in them, a lot of stuff is rather advanced ( flippings, upside down holds etc). His DVD would be a great choice for someone who is really comfortable with the basics and wants to add a twist.

re-filmed? oh no! I missed that one. I visit her forum also. ahhh darn.

I think she mentioned it awhile back . . . maybe two or three months ago? Maybe we should re-post a question on her forum to see if there are any updates! :)

Edited to add: OK, I just searched her forums, and it does sound like it'll be released this fall! I couldn't find anything that mentioned that she was postponing it, and then it hit me: I think she told us that it might be postponed when she came to Los Angeles and taught a class for her So Cal fans. That must have been it . . . or I'm going crazy (which is a very real possibility! )

Ah, that's good to know! Thanks!:)
