Gym Styles on stabililty ball???

I always do PUB on a stability ball (I don't have a bench and I like using the ball for an extra challenge). I previewed the Gym Styles and was wondering if I could do the same thing with these workouts? Has anyone done this? Basically, I don't want to have to buy another piece of equipment right now because I already plan on getting more dumbbells . . . I have the high step and 6 risers, so technically all I would need is the step platform, but I'm kind of on a tight budget right now and don't want to part with any more cash. . .

Thanks!

Hi There,

I just did the Gym Styles Chest and Triceps yesterday, and Back/Shoulders/Biceps this morning, so I am hoping to remember the exercises enough to answer your question:

Chest: You do bench presses which can be done on the ball, then incline presses which would be harder to do on the ball in my opinion

Tricep: Yes, the ball would work

Back: Don't recall much on the bench

Bicep: Again, not much on the bench

Shoulder: Yes, the ball would work

So, I think you could make it work. I love PUB, and just started a Gym Styles rotation and am LOVING the new way I am working my muscles.

Have Fun!

For one-arm rows, you could bend over, with one hand on the ball instead of supported on your upper thigh.

You could do all standing bicep work as seated-on-the-ball work using dumbbells or even a resistance band for variety.
