GS or S&H

I am wanting to increase my strength for my next rotation. Right now I am doing the BootCamp rotation. My question is... I don't have the gym styles. I have done slow & heavy on fittv. I know that it is not as long. Which should I buy for what I want? I am not able to buy both right now. I am leaning more toward GS, just wanted some opinion from y'all. TIA.

I'm going to respecfully disagree and say Slow & Heavy. It's good old fashioned 3 sets of 8 reps for maximum strength building. Gym Styles are usually in the 12 rep range and often only 2 sets. Great for muscle shaping, but I saw more strength gains with S&H myself personally. You'll be happy with them both, though, so I don't think you can really go wrong here ;-)

I think you'll see strength gains with either series. Slow & Heavy is the ultimate strength builder, but for me it's kind of tedious (and even a little dull), so I can't do it more than one or two weeks at a time. The Gym Styles, on the other hand, are really fun and very effective. I get a lot more use out of the Gym Styles, but I wouldn't trade my S&H away for anything.

The GS for strength and more of a fun factor. You will either love or hate S&H. I have them, don't think I will trade them, but hardly ever do them. I WANT to do them for a full 3 to 4 weeks but have yet to make myself do that. I'm curious what my results would be if I used S&H for an entire 3 to 4 weeks.

Looove S&H and I will never be apart with them. They have been my very core strength workouts from day one and have yet to be failed me till today delivering me the results like no others. I have all Cathe's strength tapes but S&H has it own place in my heart.

This workout always gave me the fastest results and kept me in shape all these years. :)

Well, one of these days I will do it...thanks for sharing. I know a lot of people love them and use them regularly. I'm wishing for a S&H series set up like CTX...

I have both, and honestly, I have no patience, I swear it!x( S&H drives me nuts, I have to really be in a good mind set to endure this one. LOVE Gym styles, although, I have to agree as a former bodybuilder, that S&H is more like a bodybuilder looking to build mass would use. Gym Styles are perfect. For me at least!!:)

I have GS and love it.... never fails to give me doms. (PUB always gives me more bicep doms, though) But after reading what everyone is saying about S&H, I'm thinking I might need to order that, too!
