I'm a big pilates fan and have been doing it for years. I stumbled upon the Rael (System 27) Pilates and was very surprised as to how good it was.. Rarely do my abs hurt, regardless of what i do, but have to say... felt this.
How do you think Pilates rates as a lower body workout? I'm trying to steer clear of the heavy weights for my legs and am incorporating more of Cathe's floor work. Are there any DVDs that you would recommend?
This will be an interesting thread if anyone who does pilates actually chimes in. My friend who does Cathe and knew I was going to the road trip asked me to ask Cathe what her opinion of "no sweat" workouts are. I never had the nerve to ask!!

All I know is I did a Winsor Pilates ab workout that had me in so much pain I could barely get out of bed the next morning. I'd really like to know about the lower body workouts now, though.
