dh stopped at play it again sports and bought some in great condition used barbell and dumbbell handles. the handles didn't come with clips so they had to be brought separate but silly me i only picked up one pair. now he is driving 20 mins. out of town to see if the store is still open to get me clips since wal-mart doesnt like to sell standard barbell/dumbbell clips. that is a sweeties that or he doesn't want me to complain for the rest of the night LOL

What a great guy! Wanna trade? Just kidding but mine left the refrigerator door open last night so this morning I had to throw 1/2 of its contents awayx( Maybe I can talk my H (he's not my "DH" today!)him into buying me some workout stuff too

oh what a mess!!! dh can be annoying,takes a certain person to put up with him LOL. try to see if there is a play it again sports near you. they also sell used videos so you never know what you can find. and they usually are well stocked with used weight lifting equipment at a very reasonable price. it was the only place in the city that sold 1lb weight plates when i need to make 12lb dumbbells. even dick's didn't have half the stuff i needed that play it again had.

Lucky you, my DH is great too. He made my clips for the barbell and even made .5 and 1 lb. weights to put on the barbell too. He's a keeper.
