Why is it always "up to" the husband ???????? Mine said no, not this year.

I guess it does not really have to be if you don't want to live in peace!
But I know that for me, my husband "asks" me too, before he wants to do something big like this, so it goes both ways for us as I'll bet it does for you that being said, I am sorry for your disappointment, believe me I feel your pain!

Ha, ha I know about that for sure! Yes, big events like this do require the consent of both husband/wife for harmony to exist.

Natasha & Tracy...sorry it doesn't work for you both this year. (I think your attitude is great BTW!) I so hope next year will be possible for you both. It's also a joint decision in our household when it comes to larger purchases. (Esp. seeing how teaching aerobics in my small hometown brings in enough to pay for my fitness shoes/fitness clothes/fitness music!) We will wave to you if the cameras come our way! Meant in kindness, & "we miss you", not bragging!
