GOT STS FOR CHRISTMAS!! WOOP!

I got sts for Christmas. What an AWESOME present it is :) I haven't wasted any time, I have done all three for this week already. I know all about rest days and what not, I wouldn't dream of doing the upper body ones on consecutive days. My question is if three a week is really a maximum? I know it would mess up the rotation a bit, but mr shock cardio stil isn't here, and I want to do the next chest, shoulders and bicpes workout so badly! Will this diminish my results?

I hope everyone else got good christmas pressies :)

Hi Zozo,

Lucky you!! that is a PERFECT gift :) I can honestly say that I felt anxious like that when i first started STS too. But- Cathe is my STS leader and I feel that she knows best when it comes to this program! STS really asks alot of your muscles and it's only fair to let them rest. As you get deeper into the mesos and the weight starts to climb you will start to be really greatful for those rest days. In my opinion it's best to let the rotation run on schedule and put lower intensity workouts and cardio inbetween. Hope this helps a bit... and enjoy every minute! I've done it twice and plan on starting it again in February now that i have shock cardio to add in!

Thank you for your reply :) And, I think you're right. I will trust Cathe, she knows best! That's for sure. I guess I'll just have to be patient, as soon as Shock Cardio gets here though, I think I'll be overwhelmed by all the huffing and puffing fun :)

Well done on completing it twice! I'm envious!
I'm hoping to use Shock Cardio with it, when it arrives, so I'm sure we'll both have tons of fun :D

xxxxxxxx

Zozo, if you need some cardio to fit in between STS workouts, there is a cardio rotation for it in this forum! You can use that until your SC gets to you! That's what I'm using for cardio in between because I didn't order SC (waiting for the digital in April).

I totally agree with AYLE09! I'm with you, I would love to just keep going and skip rest days too but I want the best results possible and following the program as Cathe planned is the best way to get there. Besides, muscle is not built during the workouts but during the recovery. Good luck.
