((((((GOT CHINUPS???)))))))

Catherine - my wrists are doing so much better. Sometimes they still go numb if I get them in certain positions but nothing like when I was fighting them every night all night long. And he ache that use to radiate back up into my shoulder is gone.:D I go back to the massage therapist on the 13th, so far I am so impressed with the results. The past few nights I haven't even worn my braces. Thanks for asking.

Another shot in the foot? How's it feeling? Enjoy your dinner out tonight.

Linda, that's great news about your wrists!!

My foot is feeling better. Well, not right now after the shot lol. It seems as though it gets a little worse after the shot before it gets better

Chinning day

First set (unassisted) is up to 7 now - up one every week since I got back into doing them. Did 5 more with the thinnest Iron Woody band, then did 2nd set with 4 unassisted & 5 more with IW bands. Last set on the Total Gym. Dang, chins are hard!!!! Very worth the effort, however, for the results.

AWESOME WORK!!!

I just finished cardio coach #5 on the elliptical and I'm off to get my dreaded mammogram. OUCH! Thank goodness they only come once a year but are very important to have done.

Catherine- How was your dinner last night? Did your nephew order a drink? I remember when DS turned 21....that was all he could think about. How is your foot doing after your injection yesterday?

Linda- What workout do you have planned for today?

Cakebaker- Great stats on your chinning. I hope to be there someday!

Today was leg day for Cardioacceleration Rotation. I changed up the exercise a bit because they called for dumbbells and I just can't go heavy enough so used my barbell. Nice thing was I didn't have to work hard during the 1 minute cardio breaks to keep my heart rate during the first half. Down side made the leg exercise a little hard because the legs were tired and I was breathing hard.

Did first 10 minutes of 4DS HIS, then one minute cardio between sets running around my workout room or on the TM.

Legs
Squats
12/12/12 - 85#
Static Lunge
12/12/12 - 30's
RDL
12/12/12 - 105#

Calves
DB Calf Raise
25/20/20/20 - 35's ***these were brutal because for some reason my right calf has been sore and tight for days now****

Abs
Hanging Leg Raises
8/8/8
SB Roll Outs
15/15/15

I finished with thge stretch from $ DS HIS. Workout was 1:01 and I burned 566 calories.

Catherine - Hope the shot brings you good relief!

Judi - I have yet to go get my mammogram yet. The script is hanging on my though.

Cakebaker
- Nice job on those chins!

Checking in a bit late today. I took another rest day. I forgot that my foot is usually a bit sore the day after an injection, so no sense in making it worse.

Linda, that w/o looks tough enough even without the cardio during the rest intervals

Judi, your rest week is half over. Are you looking forward to Meso 2??

Cakebaker, are you doing a rotation or just your own thing?

Ouch! I can't move! Everything hurts! Even my traps are sore and I haven't even worked back yet this week. My hamstrings hurt, my calves hurt, my chest, shoulders and triceps still hurt. Aaahhh, but it's good pain.:D:p:D:p

Okay I am done whining now. This morning I dragged myself to workout room and managed to do LIC Cardio Only premix on am 8"step adding impact, also did Bonus Cardio Finished Combos from BM2, then finished with the stretch from LIC. Workout was 54 minutes and I burned 460 calories. Wanted to go longer but I woke up late, so had to cut it a bit short.

Catherine - How's the foot today? Is the cold gone?

Judi - A rest week, how nice. I really need one of those.:p But not until I lose some of this weight I put on.

Oops I should have said Judi's active recovery week is almost over. Cause we know she ain't been resting ;)

Linda, wtg on working out with doms!!!!

My foot is good today. Not sure what w/o I will do though,.....

Hey Ladies-

I think I aged about 15 years today. I got a call from the hospital that the doctor found a mass in my mammogram that wasn't there last year and wanted to see me ASAP. It was truly hell waiting for my appointment and then for the results. The second test did NOT show the mass and they concluded that fibrous tissues were stacked on top of eachother during the first scan giving the illusion of a mass. I was told this happens quite frequently and has to do with how everything is positioned. Needless to say, I had a good cry and thanked God for answering my prayers.

No workout today but I had enough stress to burn the same amount of calories had I worked out:confused:

Linda- Please schedule your appointment!

Catherine- Glad your foot is better. What workout did you end up doing?

Maybe we should rename our thread GOT STRESS??

Judi, I am sure that was beyond scary!! I am glad that the second mammo was ok WHEW!!

I didn't workout. I am stressed. My brother, who is one year older than me is going through some pretty serious medical issues. Didn't find out till the other day he was having problems. He is experiencing dizziness along with numbenss and weakness on the right side of his body. Several doctors visits, scans and other tests do not show ANYTHING!! He has more tests scheduled. The not knowing is the hard part. Plus he is not married and he will not let any of us (his siblings) go to the doctor with him. I tried to tell him that 2 sets of ears are better than one, but he wouldn't have any part of it. When he gets feeling beter I am gonna bitch slap him!!

Oh Catherine- I'm sorry about your brother. There is nothing worse than experiencing symptoms yet the tests reveal nothing. I agree it is the NOT knowing that is so hard. I completely understand your stress and will be praying for your brother. Please keep me posted.

BTW, your "bitch slap" statement had me LOL:D Thanks, I needed that;)

Thanks for the prayers Judi!! Oh and glad I could make you laugh :D I do try to keep my sense of humor (even though DH says I don't have one). I do believe that laughter is good medicine!!

Hey ladies. I was gonna do Providence today till I realized that I have my kb session with Katie tomorrow. So I did Rhythmic Step instead. I just love this step w/o. Not too intense, not too much impact, but lots of fun!!

So what are you all up to???

I skipped my planned workout (KPC) and took the dog for a long walk instead. The sun is shining with temp in the 40's and it felt great to be outside:)

Catherine- Have a good session with Katie tomorrow. I haven't done Rythmic Step in so long I might just pull that one out and give it a whirl tomorrow.

Linda- How ya doing?

Yep, I noticed that too. I actually felt some guilty pleasure knowing even Cathe gets breathless doing these. They are freaking hard!!

Have fun with Katie...don't let her work you too hard;)
