This is the best news I read all week. I read an article in our daily paper that says those who indulge in chocolate are less likely to be on anti-depressants!!! They called it 'self-medication'. Is it true?
I thought finding this info was rather timely because since Feb. 6 I decided to give the stuff up until Easter...and my family says I'm a grump. To begin with I blamed PMS. I'm now in my 4th straight week of PMS!!!
So if choc has been my 'drug' of choice to help me cope then feasibly I can not be concerned about the calories in it right? After all who counts the calories of their medication? And besides, I was always under the delusion that if I just gave up chocolate I'd lose those last nasty little bulges. In 4 weeks the only thing I've lost is a little sanity!
I'm counting off the days until Easter when I can go back on my 'meds'.
