I know she is (or should be) sleeping right now, but I wanted to wish my favorite TIG the best of luck in her first race tomorrow! I know she will conquer every hill, and have the best time, cuz she rocks!:)

Does Miss Wendy enjoy running!!!!?????:eek: :) :) 23 weeks ago she was just getting into it and now she is going to run a race...I AM IMPRESSED!! And beleive me...nothing impresses me these days! hahaha

LOL, thanks ladies...Don't get too excited though. I'm pretty sure I'm bailing and will enter a different race. The weather is awful and I can't see running in it...especially not in a park surrounded by trees w/branches that could fall on my head w/one strong wind!:eek:

I know someone running a 5k on monday so I'm considering signing up for that one. If not, I'll be picking another one to run this month on my own.

I'm sad that all of my excitement is for this race is going down in flames but I need to be smart about this.

Well, I was going to wish you good luck, but now I'll just congratulate you on your smart decision. I can't think of anything worse than running in rainy, stormy weather. I'm glad you're saving your first race for a prettier day!
 
Smart decision! Good luck on Monday (or whenever the first race is). You rock, girl!

Seems just yesterday you were starting out running (on the daily check-in) and now a race! Wow!
