ok-- I am even MORE confused!
After reading on VF about all these wonderful results everyone is having with hi rep/lo weight training (definition, lean loook, etc)
the thought that anything other than heavy weight, high intensity training might be a waste of time.. well, it's an old argument.
I have been exercising 15 years, and I STILL dont know which road to take. I guess I like all types of training, (interval cardio, lond cardio, moderate intensity, light lifting, heavy and slow, etc) but most importantly, I like getting results for the time I put in.
I found the most appealing (to my eyes, anyway) changes with lots of intense interval cardio, and light to moderate hi rep weight work.
I have in fact trained slow and heavy for 6 week cycles at a time (havent done this in about 2 years, tho) and only got thicker, and couldnt control my appetite! dang genetics!
I want so desperately to believe there is a "one size fits all" way of working out , which is basically what I get from the article. oy.
I'm thru with my nonsensical rant now. off to do floorwork with light ankle weights, and Cathe PUB! (which by the way, is a masterpiece!)
