Girls clothes

I'm trying to find some nice jeans for my daughter. She's a girls' size 7 slim right now. I'm not too thrilled with what they've got on gap.com.

Any suggestions? Shelly????

Sorry, Donna, I just saw this. I really like the jeans at Old Navy. They have a good selection. I always have to get the adjustable waist ones for Sophie, because she's a 10 in length but about a 6 in the waist, so we have to cinch those babies up to the smallest they'll go. Otherwise she wears floods:p

Strangely, I've found good jeans for her at Costco on occasion. I'm not sure if you have The Children's Place there or if it's a Canadian store, but they have GREAT girl's clothes. The other place I buy is La Senza Girl and I know you don't have that store in the U.S.

I should box up Sophie's outgrown (read: too short) jeans and send 'em down to you.

I agree about both Old Navy and The Children's Place. My DD wears a 4 slim and I have jeans from both places. My niece is a 7 slim and I've bought jeans for her at Younkers.

My 6yo dd is a slim too. She's in a 6X slim but should be in a 7 slim by the fall. I actually got lucky & picked up a couple pairs of 7 slim at a garage sale last weekend! I like the jeans at Old Navy or JC Penney's typically. The Arizona brand (at Penney's) comes in slim also & are reasonably priced. They have the adjustable waist band.

I haven't bought any, but a friend loves Children's Place & I know her dd wears slim sizes too. HTH!

My DD is a 6 slim and we get some of her "nicer" jeans from Limited Too...You can usually find slims on the sale racks there, too!
