Getting-to-know-you confessions

Just wanted to share the other side of the coin... I have been to college and often wonder if I just wasted my time. I have a job that has nothing to do with what I studied in college and I know I'm not using my full potential. A college degree does not seem to be worth in today's job market what it was a few years ago. So, even if you had gone to college, you may still be in the same position you are now...wondering if you did the right thing. Don't sweat it. This is the path you chose and I am sure your family is grateful. Be proud of it. :)

I am not always right, but I am NEVER wrong. :p

I always have the be the best at whatever I do. Always.

I am a whooper and a clapper! :D

I am painfully shy, always have been.
I am surprised I even got married because I never spoke to a boy in school.
I dislike being around people, I prefer to be home alone with my DH and 2 cats.
I only have 1 friend.
I love romance novels.
I am not a whooper but sometimes I am a clapper.
I love to shop, but by myself.

*Don't whoop or clap .. do cuss when it is really hard!

*I am blind in one eye

*I prefer honesty .. and give my honest opinion all the time and probably a little too often}(

* I was extremely shy as a child .. was bullied up until the 10th grade .. and when I decided to stop trying to fit in and not take crap from anyone .. I suddenly became confident and popular! got rid of LOOSER boyfriend and found myself stronger and full of confidence and hope to always be that way!:)

<<< side note: research shows that most blue eyed people are shy b/c their eyes pick up more movement and light .. found that interesting >>>>>

I do not whoop. Nor do I clap.
I do, however, throw a mean punch and a heckuva kick.}(
I am completely self-reliant and a loner by nature.

I secretly think that the all the lizards on my back patio where I work out are all watching me and when they flex their red thingy I think it is because they are trying to attract me as a mate.

I think I'm going into that transaction,Im 28 and well,i'm starting to not care what people think of me and just be myself, although it tends to get me in trouble.People are always taking me the wrong way, they say Im come across as snobby and rude,im just an observer and well when people get to know me,they say im sweet and honest and very sincere! growing up with three older brothers and a younger sis. you kinda have to be rude to get an word in edgewise.

Also,I like people with a good sense of humar! not so serious all the time!

I hate odd numbers and will do anything possible not to use them.
My car has dual ac controls and both of them have to be an even number and both the same number.
Can anyone say "OCD"? :)

hahaha, I hate odd numbers, too! I don't know why, I have no clue, but I do. And when I lift my last rep has to be a dividend of 4; when Cathe only does 15 of something I HAVE to do one more... isn't that crazy?

>>>>my avatar is of Lucy comforting Dori after her spaying... if dogs can show this kind of love, just think of what we can do>>>>

OMG .. how precious is that .. it does amaze me how loving pets are .. and you can see that love in their eyes and expressions!

That is just precious and warms my heart!!:)

Okay, my confession is that I have no friends. I mean zip, zero, not one. Other than my DH and DD of course. And since I'm being honest, I actually don't mind. I am very content as a matter of fact.

Oh, and I can read upside down. Pretty impressive, I know ;-) !!

Oh, I'm loving this thread! I found more people who are "directionally challenged". I cannot tell my left from my right to save my life. I LOVED when I lived in Albuquerque and all directions where given North, South, East and West and as there was a big old mountain on the east that was visible from every part of the city, I could get around no problem. I've been known to point "left" and say "right". I tell people to watch my hands and ignore my words.

I'm not shy, but I struggle with self esteem. I am honestly surprised when people tell me how nice I am. DH is the most social creature on the face of the earth (I'm serious - he'd win ANY competition hands down), so I've been forced to become much more social which I have to admit I like, except when I'm out too late.

I don't whoop or clap, but I've been known to swear at Cathe. My DD's think it's hysertical. I've taken Tae Kwon Do and we were told to exhale every time we punch or kick, so I "POOF" every time I throw a punch or kick (never made it to a KIYAH!). This is another source of endless amusement for my DD's. And yes, I continue to workout in front of them as I want them to know it's important. I think kids learn by example. Not all my examples are wonderful, but at least this one is good. LOL.

I am very goal oriented and need several challenges a year in order for me not to wander aimlessly through a workout routine. And whenever I put together a rotation, I follow it for 2 weeks then totally change things around.

Oh and I can wiggle my nose like a rabbit.

LOL Christine- I nose wiggle like bewitched and wiggle my ears like a bunny! Its been a repeat party request for years w/ our friends!

I whoop, I clap and I sing along to the music with Cathe tapes and in my classes. Terribly embarassing. Former pom pom girl...you just can't get "perky" out of your system.

KIM ;)

Traci - LOL!! I find it very convenient when someone is staring at me or being too serious. I wiggle my nose and it breaks the tension... It's really great with a pair of glasses on...

>I hate odd numbers and will do anything possible not to use
>them.

I'm just the opposite! I will only scoop up 7 or 9 (or 537) M&M's at a time!

I have a compulsive eating disorder (though I'm kickin' it's ass!).

I would exercise all day long if not for my family. And chores. And work. All that other stuff.

I am usually thinking something cleverly bad, though will only usually spit it out with a bit of alcohol (the words, not the drink). :)

..... I've also been known to moan, groan and even whimper during a few of Cathe's weight workouts....

There! Now you all know!
