getting my husband interested in the videos

Cathe, I have been doing your dvds since the '80s. I love the new workout blender and live streaming classes, even though I own most of the dvds already. I want to get my husband (58) interested in doing these workouts. I have most of the supplies we use, step, bars, glide discs, bands, balls ,bosu. Just thinking of adding a spin bike to our gym. Maybe a heavy bag, too. Any suggestions? I gave up my gym membership because i prefer working out with you. I would love to try a real live class someday. Thank you for keeping me interested for the last 30 years. Pam

Pam, if you figure out a way to get your husband interested in doing Cathe workouts (or any for that matter), please let me know. I pretty much have given up trying to get my husband to exercise, which is sad because I'm a personal trainer and I can't even get my husband to do something that is good for him. Years ago we purchased a very nice elliptical which was intended for him and that lasted a very short period of time. I use it way more than what he does. I know he'll never workout with me as he flat out told me I intimidate him when it comes to working out and he would feel like he needs to keep up with me. I even told him I wouldn't workout with him, that I'd train him and still no luck.

I'm hoping next year in July Cathe is still doing live classes as my goal is that I attend one of your live classes for my 50th bday. To me that would be an awesome and amazing birthday present to myself. ;)

Your husband sounds just like mine! We invested in a really nice treadmill which he swore he would use. Yes, I can count on one hand how many times he's used it. I use it now even though it bores me simply because I hate to think we wasted all of that money on it. He says he gets enough exercise walking around at work but I know he needs more, especially some kind of strength training. I would also love to know how to get him interested!

I'm in your camp, ladies. My husband doesn't exercise (or eat healthy food) either. It's disappointing. Keep doing what you're doing for YOU. All the best...
