How was AB this morning? :)

Just housework and paperwork today so far. ;) Not sure if a workout will happen at this point....

Have a great weekend! I am out tomorrow with my Aunt and Mom for lunch. Not sure if I will get anything in for a workout before leaving.
Well I did get in 4 days this week so I guess it will be ok to skip a couple days in a row. ;)

Yesterday I did Insanity Pure Cardio - that's a sweatfest!

Today I did a long, easy run. Legs are feeling good. :)

DD and I are getting ready to head to the mall. DH and DS will be left at home to work on getting over their colds - ugh!

Sorry for not checkin in the last few days, very busy weekend. My friend came up to WV on Saturday, we sent all day together. Never got a workout in Saturday or Sunday. Yesterday we went to Tysons Coner. We went to a Mexican bar, had a small bite to eat. Alesia and I got sick? So no workout to report. I have a confession to make...I never did AB. LOL. Not sure, if I will do it today or start another rotation?

Sherry - good job with your workouts. Did yo buy anything at the mall? we went yesterday, everyone bought something except me, lol!

Heidi - I am not sure, if I will do the Sept rotation? I think I will come up with my own thing? Need more coffee to decide.

Good morning!

WO done - Insanity Power & Resistance. Did this one barefoot, and really seemed to help work out some tightness I was feeling in my feet. Maybe I should do that more often. I also think this extra bit of cardio is helping my running, so I plan to stick with it for now.

Yesterday DD and I had fun at the mall - no clothes shopping drama at all! They were having great sales, so everyone got something. Got a great deal on a homecoming dress for her wear - couldn't pass it up! We were so shopped out by the end of the day.

Tomorrow the kids start school, so today will be getting that stuff together. DS is about over the cold, but it's still holding strong with DH, so no plans to visit with anyone and contaminate them.


Belinda - Sorry about the food sickenss - hope you are feeling better today. Maybe a lighter wo than AB is due? Are you doing the Sep rotation?

Heidi - Enjoy the day with family. Not bad on the wo's this week. As for rotation, I'm kind of enjoying not pulling all the equipment out, but I am missing heavier weight work - I think that will have to wait until the 1/2 marathon is over.

Morning!

I had a great time with my Mom yesterday. We went out for breakfast first thing. Then off to the mall to find a new microwave for her. Lol! The stores can't keep up with the demand for college students dorms I guess. ;) we finally found one at Sears and was in the color she wanted.

I did get in runervals 1.0 before leaving so at least I did something yesterday. ;)

Belinda: how are you and your DD feeling today?

Sherry: argh! I can't believe the colds have already started for you all. School hasn't even started too! I hope the guys are doing better and you don't catch it!

Good Evening and Happy Labor Day!

I've still been unplugged for the last week and staying away from my computer at home for the most part - so no check ins for me. I've actually started Cathes three month January 2012 rotation. I started week 2 today - so STS Disc 4 is done! Tomorrow is Turbo Barre LB Express premix. DH and I have actually been sick all week so I did take a couple of days off. This weekend has kind of been a crap shoot as we slept friday night, almost all day & night Saturday. Our heads were pounding from our sinus headaches and it was awful! I'm still tired! I forced myself out of bed yesterday morning to get Afterburn in because I know the more I sleep the more drowsy I am. So yesterday was "ok" energy-wise. We did get some yard work done yesterday so the weekend wasn't a total crap shoot. :p

The last three nights we have taken some lazy rides out in the country and have seen a ton of wild life! Its nice getting some fresh air and out of the city once in a while.

I finally went to a physical therapist for my neck/back/jaw issue. My body was out of whack! He did some adjusting which has helped somewhat - but my jaw/neck is still tense. I am 80% positive it is brought on because of my mental state! I am now reading a book called "the worry cure". I really do worry too much which causes anxiety, which then leads to me tensing up. DH says "I don't know why you read books like that". He saids I just need to "go with the flow like everyone else". My problem is that I don't know how! I swear for a year I've gone mental! :p Working on it....

Schools starts in my district tomorrow. This will be a good test for me on trying not to worry! Everyone wants everything NOW. I need to keep reminding myself that I am one person and I can only do so much in a day. The world WILL NOT END if someone has to wait.

My fall semester of school starts on Wednesday. Taking a project management class as well as a accounting class. Just two semesters to go - I've got this! Also, another PIYO Strength lesson starts next Tuesday. I've still got some kinks I need to work out of my notes for that...

You are all my inspiration to not make any excuses about my workouts - it looks like everyone has been getting them in even with their busy schedules. :) Belinda - I see you've been ill as well? Summer colds suck!

Heidi - I squished another spider in our basement the other day. It was red. Body and legs! I've now squished three of these "red spiders" over the course of a couple of years in the basement. Have no idea what they are, but their color fascinates me! :p

Sherry - I saw your facebook post of your DH - wow, still running while having a cold. He is more of a trooper than I! Very cool! I hope you enjoyed your "alone time" while your kids and hubs was away.

HI girls,

I ended up doing Pauline Nordin Butt Bible (from youtube)LB + UBL1 + 10 band workout for the legs. I don't think my stomack can handle lots of high impact for the next few days.

Sherry - you did Insanity Power parefoot? How are you feet feeling? Hope your DH feels better soon.

Heidi - glad you had a great time with your mom. What rotation are you doing for Sept? Good job with your run.

Karen - I was looking at that rotation too. What results did you get from the Aug rotaiton? Good luck tomorrow.

Hi all!

First day of school, so things are kind of crazy here. Getting back in the swing of things. As for the summer cold, DS is done, DH is still lingering (and driving the rest of us crazy), and it just kicked in for DD. I don't want to be next - better get some lysol!

My wo's today were Insanity - Fast & Furious first thing - a 20 minute sweatfest. This evening, I did Insanity - Cardio Abs and a 2 mile tempo run, followed by StretchMax #3 with Band! That's plenty!


Belinda - Was that a good butt wo? Sorry your tummy still isn't feeling well. Doing Insanity in barefeet seems to be helping my feet and arches a bit - kind of like the barefoot running I figure.

Karen - School starting will not help the "worrying". Be sure to exercise to exhaustion whenever possible - then you'll be too tired to worry! Sounds like you had the same head stuff that's going around here. Hope it was gone so that you could handle today!

Heidi - Can't believe how much trouble you had finding a microwave! Nice job on your run. I'm outside whenever possible. Think the treadmill has been getting a bit dusty lately, but it's getting dark so early now that it won't stay that way long.

Time to start getting ready to hit the hay. See ya all tomorrow.

Just a quick check in: I am feeling much better today. Thanks for you good vibes. I think it was the food DD and I ate at the Mexican bar. We ate the same thing:confused:

I have to take the dogs to the vet this morning. This afternoon I will do cardio, not sure what yet?

I just finished a cardio workout from youtube with Steven Maresca.I been wanting to do that workout for quit some time. I thought it would be an easy workout, wrong! That was one tough workout:p I burned 541 cal in 40 min. AWESOME workout! Loved it! I will do that one more often. Love working with the med ball. Fun stuff.

Heidi - I think I will start STS in Oct? How do you like the STS 3 month undulating rotation? Nice job on AT. That's a tough one.

LOL! I hear ya on the stressing part...my son is already fried from the first class at college yesterday. ;) Getting all the paperwork organized is the biggest struggle for most students. I wish your kids the best this year! And for you and I to have lots of patience!!!! LOL :)

Oh Belinda: You know I really liked the Jan STS/LIS rotation the best out of the 3 different undulating rotations listed in the WM. I hope that Karen is finding that rotation a good one as well. :)

Have a great workout with that very interesting sounding program. Never heard of Butt Bible L1. ;)

Today's plan: STS #17 legs. This should be tough seeing as I did AT yesterday! ;)

Good evening,

Workouts are done! This morning I walked the dogs 35 min/2.5 miles. Than I did abs w/Violet Zaki (that one was tough), I also did 30 min yoga for my hip w/ David. I just finished Butt Bible L1 again.

Heidi - if you can't find the workout, let me know. I will post the link here;) That workout was so much fun:D WTG, on your legs and abs today.
