Today I will start BH's week 3 rotation, with Body Rev.

Hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

What are your plans today?

I have viewed Total Body Trans and Ultimate Cardio Body....OMG! These look tough and quite the burner for sure! I will definelty be using very light weights to keep my shoulders safe. He does a lot of shoulder moves in these. BE CAREFUL!

I just finished my workout. 30 Day Shred level 1. Then Killer Buns&thighs level 1.
Great sweaty butt kicking workout! Burned a total of 862 cals. W/o Time: 68.54.

PLAN FOR THIS WEEK:
This is going to be a great rotation for sure. :)

I will do Killer Buns at least 3 days a week.

Tomorrow is a run and abs from ab hits .
Weds: No More trouble Zones level 1 and Killer buns
Thurs: Run and 6wk 6 pack
Friday: Shred it w/weights level 1
Saturday: Killer buns and a run or cycle
Sunday: Yoga Melt down

Off to my shower and work.

Hi girls,

Heidi--- wow, on your workout today! You gonna work those abs good this week:p I am doing BH's Inside out Method" rotation. I do have this newer once. Isn't JM great? I will switch to her in 2 weeks:D change is good!

Sherry and Karen, what are your plans today?

Still haven't worked out, running errands. Will take a nap first. The rain is making me tired:confused:
 
Hi all!

Hope you all enjoyed yesterday. I was able to get in a wonderful 4.5 mile run, plus dog walks for warm-up and cool down. She loves to walk with me, but we don't run well together. I'm too slow for her. Now if I was doing sprints, she's right there. Too funny!

Today will be some kind of upper boday weights. DD has a track meet, and thoe go long, so the amount of time I have will influence which wo I decide to do.

Heidi - great plan for the week. Let me know how you like these.

Belinda - I'm sure a day or two off will be ok. I know you are in fabulous shape!

Karen - you should have plenty of time to wo now. Any specific rotation plans?

I'll check back in with you later.

Belinda: I know what you mean about that rain. :) so did you get in your w/o?

Sherry: nice run! :) lol on your pup. My neighbor runs with her dog and he is a very big dog with long ears. I watch her run down the hill and a few minutes later here he comes ears flopping in the wind.. Silly sight for sure. :)

Good luck to your dd tonight. Have a good w/o which ever you end up doing. :)

Hey Sherry, Belinda, and Heidi!

Yes, Belinda I've taken too many rest days! :confused: Saturday I finished up the September 2011 rotation with SH Bi's and Tri's. Sunday DH and I did cleaning and yard work - so no official workout. Yesterday morning I just could not get out of bed when the alarm went off so no real workout. However we did take our dog Raleigh out for 2 walks, and also rode our bikes downtown for the waukesha bike alliance meeting. So something...

This morning I had every intention to start the December 2011 rotation - but that didn't happen.... I do have PIYO tonight so that will be my workout for today. Doing PIYo is probably a good thing because it FORCES me to workout. I can't back out since I'm teaching it! :rolleyes: If they only knew how lazy I've been...

It looks as though everyone has been rocking the workouts the last few days - awesome! I hope to be back in the swing of things tomorrow morning if I get to bed early enough. I made the mistake of staying up with DH this weekend until 1pm (usually I'm in bed before 9....), so I think I'm still trying to catch up on the sleep I missed. Oh well!

You girls might get a laugh out of this. On Saturday we went and checked out a few farmers markets. One of them had some fitness thing going on near by so we stopped by. They had different vendors and stuff there, also one spot where they had kettlebells, mats, and ropes to show/let others try some exercises. Of course my DH told the girl that I wanted to try. So she had me do some abs...no biggie. Then went to the kettlebells. Looked me up and down and picked up the lightest weight (10lbs) and started doing some overhead presses. I grabbed it and did it with ease and when doing so apparently (according to my husband because I wasn't paying attention) all of the other trainers at the other booths had to turn and check me out as soon as I started the kettlebells as though they thought I wouldn't be able to do it. Yeah, I'm a Cathlete and can rock it out! I wish I had had my cathe butt kicking t-shirt on. LOL

Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice mothers day this weekend. The weather was gorgeous by us. :D

Belinda: LOL! I need my naps! Nice job last night! :) I am feeling my workout today. Upper calves (from sumo calf lifts I am sure) and back of butt/hamstrings. Just enough on the DOMS to know I hit those muscles.

Sherry: Great job last night on Tri upper express and med ball abs! Love that med ball workout. Hmmm maybe I will do that for abs today instead of ab hits. ;)

Those workouts were great yesterday! Most of her workouts are based on a circuit method so you get weights and cardio at the same time.
Just realized that I am feeling my back too! Better sit up straight....

Karen: How are you doing? You must be super busy again....I hope you have a great workout today.

WOW! How cool is that being on the spot to prove yourself a true cathlete! Great job proving that girl wrong. LOL! :) That would have been perfect if you had your tee on too! Power to us Cathletes!
Yard work is a workout so don't let that be discounted. It is probably why you were extra exhausted the next day too.
I hear you on the staying up way past your ususal bedtime schedule...DH does this to me as well with too many movies..even during the week. I am running on coffee power most of the time. LOL!

HAHA! I am sure you put your all into the workouts when you have to teach. :) Have a great workout class tonight! :)

I did my workout this morning but just checking back now.

So today was:
25 min cycle workout
Ab circuits Med Ball
Runervals 2.0: I only did 30min of this w/o because my legs started getting tight from yesterday's workouts!

I am feeling those DOMS now! HAHA ;)

Belinda: Great job getting in your workout! Are you having any DOMS from BH w/o's?

Sherry and Karen: How did you do today? Make it a good one!

OH! I may switch things around for tomorrow if my legs are really sore and do the yoga listed in my rotation for Sunday instead.
 
Good evening everyone,

Class tonight was good. Was nice and sweaty after the workout, so I didn't feel "as horrible" as I did earlier for not working out the last two days.... I hope to get in Athletic Training tomorrow before work. That is the plan anyway....must go to bed soon.

Belinda: Yes, I am certified PIYO Strength instructor. It only tool me 5 months after getting the cert to get up the nerve to teach, but I'm glad I finally made the leap. This summer I am going to get my TurboKick cert and hopefully start teaching that as well. Unfortunately with my full time job and school part time I can't teach very often. I'm only teaching piyo once a week through the rec department where I work. We are here cheering you on as you workout your 6 days this week!

Heidi - Do you cycle inside or outside? I'm not big into cycling but with spin workouts I do occasionally they seem to be helping build strength in my legs because last night coming back from the alliance meeting I actually beat my DH up the entire uphill battle on the way home without issues like I had last year. (DH was impressed) :) Cathe makes us so awesomely strong! Great job with the run as well! :)

Sherry - How have you been? Did you get any of that rain that just passed through here on the other side of the lake? ;) Today with the warm weather made me think of all of those tulips at the roadtrip resort.

I will (hopefully) be back in the AM to report a workout!

Heidi - nice mix of workout today, girl;) Good job on the DOMS! Do I have DOMS:eek: you better believe it! I feel like my arms are falling off:eek: legs are feeling ok:confused: I really like his workouts. Do you count calories? BTW, good idea switching to yoga tomorrow:cool:

Quick post!

I did get in my run tonight - 3 miles of long intervals - plus 1 mile dog walk - we often do a 1 mile loop - and finished with STS extended stretch. Leg, knee, hip all feeling really, really good.

Looks like you were all busy and chatty today. I'll catch up with all of you tomorrow.
 
Ok, I'm back!

I can officially report I dragged my butt out of bed this morning and did Athletic Training. Woot Woot! :) I almost talked myself out of it too because I was still tired and then I talked myself into by saying "You know you'll feel better if you work out". I was right, I did/do.

Sherry - Awesome job with your run last night - perfect weather for a run. :) Do you think they will ever post more roadtrip photos? They've gotta have more than what is on there now....

Belinda - Your arms didn't really fall off did they? ;) Have fun with Body Rev today!

Heidi - Did you switch your WO today and do yoga?

I do my cycle workouts indoors. My outdoor bikes are usually for fun with my son. ;)
I have some ifit, icycle, spinnervals and last but not least Cathe's Cycle Max. :) My bike isn't a spinning bike like hers. It is from Nordick track and has built in programs etc. I have been trying to convince DH why I want a spinning bike....this one you cant stand up on...you know what I mean? It's just not the same. Oh Well...

I am definitely going to be doing JM Yoga Melt Down today! LOL! Yup sore in my back, obliques and hamstrings. :)

Belinda: You are doing great with those BH workouts! Boy are they tough looking!!! Have a great workout today...HEHE unless you are going to follow me with a good yoga or stretch. I really need one!

Sherry: AWESOME run for you last night! :) That extended stretch is perfect for after a run too. The other stretch I like is the band stretch from Stretch Max. :)

Hi all!

Just checking in and trying to catch up on personals.

Belinda - Sounds like DH is doing much better if you are able to get your wo's in regularly. Good for you! :) Which BH workout gave you those wonderful DOMS? Where is BH's rotation posted? Does it use all of his Inside Out DVD's or the other ones, too? All of BH's, and JM's for that matter, DVD's are checked out at the library, so no telling when I'll get them. Wondering if I should just buy them instead (don't tell DH - he thinks we already have plenty).

Heidi - How much of the yoga did you make it through this time? ;) Which JM WO's are you liking best? I've heard good things about 30 Day Shred - is it living up to them? I forget about that Stretchmax one - I might need to switch it up.

Karen - Love the kettlebell story! :D Keep up that LB work, and you'll be crushing DH up that hill! Great job getting in your WO in the a.m. Waiting for the rest of the photos, too. I'd like to see me in some of them . . . then again, maybe not! LOL! Rain came through last night, and stopped just about the time we were rolling out this morning. Cooled down perfectly - if it were only arun day for me.

Today is DS's 16th birthday, so started the day off with cake for breakfast. :D Trying to eat out tonight to celebrate, but sometimes workoung around the kids' schedules . . . doesn't work for them either. LOL! I want to get in a weight WO, too, and maybe UB since the UPTS express premix didn't do as much as I wanted the other day (but better than nothing since that's about all I had time for - 20 min UB and 10 min abs). Yes, STS is conveniently on hold until after track is done at the end of the month.
