Getting it done for May 14 - 20, 2012

Hey girls,


I did my workout this morning:) I also took a walk with the dogs.

Sherry - Body Rev (he calls it cardio) it's more like a cirucit workout. Bure Burn (Stenght) uses more weights, but still a circuit workout! Yoga for the Worrior is like a power yoga, but still I fell stretched out! Bob's workout (has two 30 min workouts) he says that his workout what he does in the gym! That one is tough! He keep your HR up the entire workouts. I am doing the "Inside Out Method" rotation, which uses only the 4 DVDs I listed. I have a copy of the rotation on my computer (Bob when he came out with the Inside Out Method DVDs, he had the rotation posted on this webside) You can no longer find it on this webside? Why? I don't know! I think the workouts are awesome, butt kicking workouts:eek: Even if you don't like Bob or don't want to do a 4 weeks rotation it's an awesome price right know. Not sure, how long he has that sale going on? You can't beat $5 for a dvd!They are full body workouts. I do have to tune out his beginner exeriser:rolleyes:, she acts like they she is dying, lol. Other than that, I have have no complains with the DVDS. They always make great gifts later too;)Happy birthday to your DS! Don't worry about eating today. Enjoy!

Heidi - you getting all of JM's workout in, hah! Good for you! So what did you think of Yoga Meltdown? BTW, your legs gonna be fried next week, w/ Killer Buns 3 times, lol!

Karen - how do you like the LIS? LOL, my arms almost did fall off! Bob is heavy on high reps and shoulders!! What's up with that? Good job on AT. I like that one.

Belinda - Thanks for the heads up on the sale that BH is having. At first I was on collagevideo trying to find them all and was like...yeah, they are on sale - but not $5 like Belinda said! Thanks to google, found bobs website (duh) and saw the $20 sale. Not that I need any more dvds....but I ordered one for myself and my sister (her b-day is in July). I'm always up for changing things up. I really do love the LIS series. You think low impact=easy....but this is cathe, no way!

Sherry - I saw your birthday cake post on facebook. I was going to ask you if you made the cake yourself?? I know you said you like to bake. :) What kind of cake was it? I hope you were able to go out and celebrate tonight.

Heidi - I know what you mean about the bikes. It sounds like your DH is much like mine "you need another what??". They just don't understand! :rolleyes: I bought a cheap pro-form bike. I think it was less than $200. It works fine for me. :) Honestly I need to clean out the gym. Its turned into a messy storage area. Lots of equipment we don't use that is collecting dust...

Tomorrow its cavity filling time. Not looking forward to it. I've been having some issues with my jaw shifting slightly to the right and my teeth aren't fitting quite right anymore. They suggested I go to a TMJ specialist (like I have money for that). I'm going to suggest yanking the wisdom teeth and see if that might make a difference? At this point I just want it to go away. I can't bite my nails anymore! (or food for that matter - at least in front) Oh wait, just had a brain fart....keep it this way so I don't eat as much and then maybe I'll magically loose weight?! :cool: lol

Checking in later than usual....

Today was No More Trouble Zones....Well I don't have any left now! LOL! That was a longer than anticipated workout so I didn't get in Killer Buns & Thighs as planned. Just as well because this wiped me out with so many circuits.

I really enjoyed the Bob H yoga the last time I did it. :) That is a great one for sure and ya it is A WORKOUT!

Sherry: Great job getting your workout done early today! :) I do like both of those Yoga workouts...one by JM and the other by BH. Both are great yoga workouts!!!!
You are right on one thing...MY LEGS ARE FRIED and I haven't made it to day 2 on the plan of doing Killer Buns and thighs! LOL! Guess I have to once again re-think my rotation plans. :)

Belinda: How was your workout today? How is your DH sleeping now? I hope he is getting more comfortable now. :)

Karen: OI! Good luck on your filling tomorrow!!! EEK! I get nervous just thinking about going to the dentist! LOL! too funny on your after thought... ;)

OK! Here is my PLAN lol! Sorry I have to keep updating it! I am finding that JM's workouts are harder on some then others and also the times aren't what is listed on the DVD's.

Friday: 1Killer buns, abs and a run or cycle
Saturday: Shred it w/weights level 1
Sunday: Killer Buns and Run and 6wk 6 pack

May 21

M: Banish Fat Boost Metabolism
Tues: Killer Buns, cycle
Weds: Run and 6wk 6pack
Thurs. 30 D Shred and Killer Buns
Fri: No More Trouble Zones, cycle
Sat: Killer Buns, run and abs
SUNDAY: REST DAY FOR SURE!


I think this will workout better for with Killer Buns being done on run days and the circuit workouts done with cycle days. :)

WOW! I have to go put my arms done they are SORE in the shoulders! EEK! :)

Heidi - Good job, on NMTZ. How long was it? how do you like this one? I never done that one (and of course I own it! for a very long time!) What week are you on? I like to copy it, but you confusing me, lol. DH has to sleep on his back. He has to stay/lay still, can't be compfy! It's driving him crazy. BTW, JM workouts are no joke! I really like your rotation, looks awesome;)

Karen - good luck tomorrow. EEK...isn't the word, lol. Hate going to the dentist.
 
Sherry - are you gonna run tonight? if so, have fun.

Tomorrow I will do Yoga and abs, thank goodness!

Hey Everyone,

Had a horrible dream last night that I found DH involved with some other woman through conversations on facebook. (funny thing is he doesn't even use facebook for real) Anyway, woke up at 2AM just livid! I couldn't even remember what day it was and I almost got up to check his computer! I hate dreams like that. Too funny. Needless to say, I couldn't fall asleep right after that ordeal so when the alarm went off I had every intention of staying in bed....again! But I told myself even a short workout was better than none. Imax2 and Stretching was on the rotation for today, but instead I did TF 45 (boom I got your boyfriend, I got your man) :) Felt much better after that was over with!

My dentist appointment was actually today at 1130. Of course my left side of my mouth was completely numb for like 2 hours so I couldn't really eat lunch until almost 2 this afternoon. Good thing my co worker was around because my face was still slightly numb and it made chewing very difficult! Looks like I'm going to get my wisdom teeth pulled here very soon.....gulp. Please tell me its not that bad! We looked at some past xrays and saw that my wisdom teeth have moved which is causing my jaw not to fit completely right. So now the plan is to get them pulled and then get braces to straighten everything out. No more TMJ specialist in the plan. I really just hate anything when it comes to pain in the mouth. I really just want this jaw soreness to go away, so I'll do anything at this point. Eek is right!

Belinda - I purchased the 4 disc set of the inside out method. I noticed on collages site that there were other kettlebell workouts with that title as well, do you have those? I do not have the rotation for his workouts so if you could post it or send it to me that would be awesome!

Heidi - I don't want anymore trouble zones too!! ;) Your PLAN looks like a good one! I look forward to reading about your DOMS the next few weeks!

Sherry - HOw are you doing today?

Ok, I'm off to read more of my book - its hard to put down! Gotta roll with it while school is not in session!

Bob sold the KB DVDs awhile ago for $5 too! I bought the Ultimate Cardio Body, Kettlebell Sculpted Body, Kettlebell Cardio Shred, Totally Ripped Core) I think I bought one more, just can't remember:eek: since all my DVDs are in the basement I will look tomorrow. And for $5 you can't beat that:D I got all his DVDs except the beginner one. Hope you feel better soon.

Good morning!

Yesterday was one of those days that I didn't get a chance to come up for air until about 10;pm, which was way too late to get in a 4 mile run, so I'll do that one today - a tempo run, too, so I'll be pushing the pace.

My parents will be in town this weekend for a visit, so aside from the normal chaotic schedule, I was trying to get the house and guest room ready. DS spent the evening annotating Catch in the Rye and DD made a model of a cell out of cake and icing. See, normal evening for us . . .

Belinda - The price for Bh's is too good to pass up, and sounds like you are loving them, which means a lot coming from a woman who has completed STS how many times?

Karen - Glad the dentist/TMJ thing is not as bad as it could have been. I had a couple of wisdom teeth pulled when I was pregnant, so could only take Tylenol, so might not be that bad (seemed better than waiting until i was running after 2 little ones). Dreams can get you wound up emotionally sometimes, but at least you didn't go actually check the computer!

Heidi - Love your plan! Did you take measurements before so that you can see how effective these wo's are? I priced these too, but will need to check the stores - think I can do better than her website.

Break over, now need to get some work done. Catch up with ya mor later.

LOL! I wish today was Yoga! ;) Just finished Killer Buns & Thighs Day 2. I did much better this time around too. The hardest part of this one for me is the side plank inner thigh lift move. I did it on my hand/instead of elbow but still had my other leg bent for support. Just really difficult! This one is about 40min long and I burned 486 cals. PHEW! Sweated buckets for sure!

I really liked the No more trouble zones workout. It is 1 hour long and works it all! Burning 639 cals on this one and it showed when I went to mop the floor from dripping every where!
LOL!

Sherry: Wow you have your hands full! :) I hope you get in a great run tonight!

The only BH workout I have done so far is the yoga for warriors...it is a good one!

Jillian is kicking my butt for sure! It is just so different and doesn't stop from one circuit to the next. You sweat buckets and it gets every thing all at once. ;)
I haven't taken measurements but fitting into my old favorite pants that are now paint pants tells it all. :) I wish I hadn't used these for painting now..LOL! ;)

Changes in my eating and definitely sticking to my workouts has paid off. :)

Karen: Are you taking a rest day due to the dentist? ARGH! I hate nightmares like that!!! Makes me upset for days...even though nothing happened...Just weird huh?

I have only had one wisdom tooth out so far. It went ok but I had to have laughing gas instead because of my migraines. Believe me I was so happy to have it over with! Just make sure to keep the sockets flushed out to prevent any infections. It is uncomfortable for a day or so but our mouths tend to heal pretty fast compared to other parts of our bodies. ;) I hope this helps! Wishing you the best!!!

Belinda - Thank you for those links - I was unaware of either of them. Have you done both of these rotations or just the inside out method? I was looking at the first couple of weeks going "thats alot of rest days..." but then I thought "nice!". :) I think I will try finishing up the december rotation and then try bobs. I should have the DVD's by then.... Did you enjoy your yoga day?

Sherry - That is good to know about the wisdom teeth. I hate pain. I also don't like taking strong medication. If I can survive with advil or tylenol that would be great. Its weird, after they filled my cavity yesterday my jaw doesn't feel too bad today. Maybe the shot helped my jaw relax and turn to jello! :)

Heidi - Sorry if someone already asked this already - which JM dvd's do you have? Are you following one of her rotations that she made or did you just create your own? I had a couple of her workouts from the early days, but didn't get into them. Maybe her newer ones are better? Obviously you like them! :)

Today was supposed to be Slide and Glide. I ended up only doing half of it (the toning part). Tonight we are going on a bike ride with the waukesha bike alliance crowd so I will make up for skipping the cardio this morning. In a really foul mood...don't feel much like socializing tonight. We'll see how that goes...

Karen here is my List of JM:

Newest: Kickbox Fast Fix, Extreme Shed & Shred and Ripped in 30. These I have't done yet. I will put them into my rotation I made up in the next couple weeks. ;)

30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, 6 week 6 pack, Killer Buns & Thighs, Banish Fat boost Metabolism and Yoga Melt Down.I have done all of these except for this one I am doing Sunday: Shred-it with weights.

So as you can see I do have most of hers too. ;) Because I haven't done them recently I am just getting used to which is what type of workout. This is why I keep updating my rotation plans. HAHA!

I hope you feel better getting out for a bike ride even though it is with the group. :)

Today is Bob's Workout #1(?), 30 min. Tomorrow is rest day. One more week and I am done with Bob's rotation:D

Heidi - what results are you seening with with your rotaiton? JM has a new series out, have you heard of it? Looks amazing, but it's very pricey:confused: I don't have Kickbox Fast Fix, Extreme Shed:( I do have 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, 6 week 6 pack, Killer Buns & Thighs, Banish Fat boost Metabolism and Yoga Melt Down:D would you recommend the the others?

Karen - I only done the "Inside Out Method" rotaiton (doing that one for the first time now). The other rotation Bob just posted a few days ago, haven't done that one yet. Will do that one after JM rotation. So many great rotations and so little time:D

Sherry - hope you get to replax this weekend. You had a lot going on this week. Did you get that run in? I ordered some Coach Sean "Cardio Coach t-shirts" from Zazzle.com. Love the shirts. I also ordered a STS shirt.

Workout is done! that is one tough 30 min full body workout! I saw on amazon.com that Bob Harper is selling his workouts (KB Sculpted Body, Cardio Shred, Totally Ripped Core, Total Body Transformation, Ultimate Cardio Body) for only $6, just in case you didn't find/or got them on his site;)

Have a busy day scheduled. First Aleisa and I will go shopping, lets see how much I get done in the yard:p

Today was 4DS Kickbox (cardio, legs,abs). Surprising I wasn't sore from the bike ride last night. :) We took our pup with us in his croozer.

Good morning!

Still no run done. :( Yesterday DD had a soccer game in the morning, about 1-1/2 hours away. Then we had to book it home, which wasn't easy thanks to road construction, to get to her confirmation. After that, we went out to dinner. So no physical activity for me.

My parents are still here. And we have to get some yard work done, too (splitting up some flowers for them to take back), so maybe can get one in tonight. 2 more weeks until track is over, then we can come up for air.

Karen - love the photos of Raleigh going bike riding. He must enjoy it, to sit still in the wagon. how funny.

Belinda - You such the enabler - now I need to go checkout the t-shirts, too!

Heidi - Glad the mixing it up with JM is giving you a good sweat!

Hi Everyone!

Sherry - I hope you get a chance to put your feet up and breathe this weekend! Having company over always seems to suck the energy out of you, even if it is good company. :)

Belinda - I hear you on the yard work. DH and I were outside for almost 5 hours today. But it was all worth it! I forgot to put sunscreen on too so I'm with you on the sunburn too. It was so nice outside this weekend it was hard to stay inside.

Yes, so since I was doing yard work all day - no workout for me. I am so sore. Got two trailers full of mulch and spread it all. Load up the wheel barrow, run it all the way to the back yard, empty it, come all the way to the front, load up again....over and over. I am going to try to do some stretching here in a little bit. My upper body is sore.

I will be back tomorrow with some upper body workout...

Glad everyone got a smile out of the Raleigh pics. He is a charmer for sure! :)
